Well boys and girls. Kal held me up on the trails today. Unfortunately his years to rot in a field caught up with him. The 15hp turned out to be powerful enough to drive the 2300 enough to bend the weakened frame. He still drives but the transaxle is twisting the frame throwing the belt.

It's been lots of fun.

Sorry to hear that Mighty. At least you had fun in the process! Good thing you've got a backup rig.

Just not a backup back.

I feel that. I'm sure everybody else there does too haha.

I learned a lot, I understand the conditions were not the best. It was still a blast. Kal did much better than expected even though in the end it's frame started to flex. I didn't even think Red would last 10 minutes with stock Murray front axle and steering, so I didn't even get it out.

Haspin 2019

I slept in and the mowrons went on a romp without me haha. They should be back any time for lunch. Afternoon romp should be fun. I definitely need a different seat before haspin next year. Currently sitting on the simplicity and it feels like a Cadillac. One of the old plush ones. The mk2 seat is just wore out and thin. I can feel the bolts poking my butt through the foam. Not fun.

Get a Murray seat. Not what the MM has though, it does the same thing to me. But the hydro, huh, I could ride that thing all day long and still have feeling in my butt. I'll bet AK cain't say that about his,

Boy, did Haspin ever win today... Multiple tire problems, my transaxle wound up with a hole. Thanks to Craftsman quad for lending us some tires! Fun is still being had!

Definitely coming back sometime. Haspin is a blast.

Made it home safe and sound without incident or traffic! Only holdup was the flat trailer tire on the way TO haspin

Had another great year little to no problems with my machines and all in all another one for the books. New truck did pretty good and my new sleeping arrangements worked out perfect, other than the 50mph in a 35mph 170$ ticket I got 15 minutes from my house, I’ll see you guys next year!

So in that first pic I'm assuming Mighty either rolled or threw his belt (noticed the dirt on the back of his shirt).

Man I hope I can make it out there next year. Sounds like y'all had a blast!

LOL..... yeah it was a little sawhorse style hill going into some trails earlier in the day.  I took it a little too fast.  Kal took the trail, I got bucked straight up into the air and came down sliding in the mud on the other side.  No bigs.... no harm no bruises....  Once my slide was finished, I hopped back on Kal and continued on the trail.  That was my real only stumble during the day.

Finally got home tonight.  No issues on the roads here.  Wife and I have been talking about future Haspin....

How long was your drive Mighty? Just wondering. I bet it's worse than what it would be for me.

The trip for me to Haspin was 880 miles one way for me.  I did have some out of way in Illinois where the Wife and kids stayed.  If I had a straight shot to Haspin it would have been right about 800 miles.

Wow, that's about the same distance from my house in KY to my old one in New York. Like a 12 hour drive. Can't believe you drove that far just to ride your tractor around.

I guess I get within about an hour of Haspin every time I go up to New York, when i go through Cincinnati.

We made it home Sunday after a bus breakdown on 270E within sight of my 71N exit in Columbus.
The steel fuel supply line from the filter to the injection pump cracked and donated an 8th of my fuel tank to the highway, and the bus had almost zero power. Made it out of traffic to the breakdown lane without issue.

My buddy Jordan was ahead of us by a bit. He turned around and brought us 5 gallons of diesel, and he and Stretch were able to temporarily replace the cracked line with a piece of hose, allowing us to make it home without a tow.

Everything's pressure washed and put away. Bus is cleaned out. Looking forward to seeing everyone again in a year.

Im still napping it off. The physical wear and tear didnt catch up till I got home (which I guess is a good thing).

Schoon best be at 2020 or im gonna go to his house and do donuts in his yard.
