With all that rain, I don't mean to appear anti-social, but I may park my rig up in the upper parking lot down by you guys.  It looks to be gravel.  If available. LOL

I dont think youre allowed to camp in the upper lot, nor would want to. They do have stone in the camping area, but whos to say its still there.

Microsoft weather says 90% every day. Accuweather was something like 30-50%, Weather Channel was around 60%. Odds are all over but none of them look too healthy.

AH..

They are saying "scattered thunderstorms".  To me that does not mean all the time, probably hit and miss.

Truck is hooked up, just need to load the trailer tomorrow when I can.  First leg of the trip starts Monday for me.

Yeah I got my trailer pretty well loaded except for a few small things. All of the big stuff is on and strapped. Had my uncle help me put my truck cap on, was gonna forego it but since its looking to be moist I didnt want to have my tent and stuff get soaked before everything was pitched. Probably finish loading that on Monday.

Also have to wait for a few things to arrive yet, one of which is axle seals for the trailer. Ordered 010-009-00 seals and got 010-019-00. Thanks Amazon.

Hello boys! Just joined up to say hey. I'm one of the geeks with the army trucks, doubt it will be a problem if you need towed to pavement. Looking forward to seeing everyone again and having some adult beverages. Seems Dennis and Dan got sick of me breaking their gear, so they got me a wheel horse to play with! I'm trying to leave Tues which would put me there Tues, but just like you, maintenance might set back my time table.

Guess I made an impression! Yeah I cant friggin wait. The job I've got works me about 60+ hrs a week and this is my one week of vacation. I usually try to fit 3 weeks of fun in 4 days.

I’m going to be working 88 hour weeks this summer haha, so I feel you. I can’t wait, but at the same time I’m not prepared AT ALL lol. Box trailer I’m camping in is still being used for storage, still haven’t heard my tractor run let alone taken it for a shakedown run, ranger is still iffy, and I plan on spending Tuesday with my girlfriend and loading the trailer. So no time for building then...

The one day build gimp horse is loaded. It's slow, just like gimpy!

Noticed I-44 was closed today in St. Louis I guess due to Mississippi river flooding.  I'm not sure.  Hope that doesn't cause issues heading up that way.

@MightyRaze We should have enough generators around. I have my little 2 stroke one loaded to run the canopy lights and charge batteries. I even welded on a sausage muffler to help tone out the bark a little bit. Youre more than welcome to plug into it if you dont mind feeding it. Safe travels!

I got most of my loading done tonight too. I decided against bringing the enclosed, since I have no time to set it up and it at least doubles my fuel costs. Pretty difficult to bring a whole village on a 5x8 and a truck with only 4' of usable bed space. Good thing I didnt sell my truck cap. Hopefully the poor thing holds up.

I know where we usually setup, do we think it might be a good idea to grab the pavilion this year? If its going to rain every day, would a roof over our heads be better? I only ask as I may head out tomorrow.

That doesn’t sound like a bad idea to me, but I’m cool with what ever I’ll go where everyone else is

I’ve got the enclosed trailer, 12 footer I think. I’ll be hanging out in there during the rain most likely. Back that up to a tent with another trailer adjacent to that and we would have a pretty good hangout spot

I'll park wherever. I planned on setting up in the rain regardless.

Well as some of you know I can't make it to Haspin this year. But I would like to say I hope y'all have a blast. Crack some cold ones and get some footage for those of us who can't make it.

@redzz02 I've really enjoyed your Haspin prep videos. I hope the Mud Dynamark rips with it's new shoes!

Looks like rain chances for Thurs and Fri have about gone away! I'll be there mid to late afternoon tomorrow. Hate to say, I'll probably head out Friday around 5pm. I will have to pick up the family that I dropped off in Illinois. . We have lunch plans Saturday with friends then our trek back to Oklahoma.
