Haspin Acres Rally 2021 - 6/23/21 to 6/27/21

Hey everybody!  The dates for the Haspin Acres Rally this year are a couple weeks later then normal due to scheduling conflicts with the powers that be, so y'all get a couple extra weeks to get your rigs ready.

Where: Haspin Acres, located in Laurel, IN
When: Wednesday June 23rd through Sunday June 27th.
What: Offroad rally, talk shop, swap parts, and hang out with some awesome friends.
Who:  Anybody with (or without) an off-road mower can hang with the Mowercycle Gang at this rally.


Haspin is about 800 acres. Trail difficulty ranges from easy to "Are you out of your mind?!?".

Ride anywhere but in the campground. No electricity or water provided in the campground.
There is one set of restrooms and showers, about 1/8th mile from campground (They have been very muddy in the past, but better in recent years)
Water is available for hosing off rides and riders.

Camping is available in woods or campground.

Prices for park are 20 first day, 15 second, 10 each day after.

*****IMPORTANT NOTES!*****

Assuming Covid complications continue, pre-registration will either be required or recommended.  Visit their website to pre-register.

Haspin requires all riders to wear helmets on all trails. If you do not bring a helmet, they won't let you ride.

If you are under age and planning to come, you must work out the Haspin Acres waiver ahead of time or come with a parent.  We do not want anyone to drive a long distance and be turned away at the gate.  We will not pretend to be anyone's parents, and we are not responsible for you.  

As we are doing this rally jointly with Steelsoldiers, be respectful of these very cool guys and their very cool rides.

Expect to break your tractor.  Be prepared with tools and parts.

Little later this year.  I didn't get the come last year due to last minute things (out of my control) that got in the way, but will see if I can get all my ducks in a row earlier this year!  Thanks for the information!

I’m super excited, I believe I’m going for the full week this year, leave Sunday before and stay until Saturday/Sunday depending how my back feels. I plan to focus more on camping along with QUALITY rides like I did in 2020. If all goes well I’ll be bringing my newly acquired 30’ mobile orgy wagon(an rv lol) I’m not entirely sure what toys I shall be bringing this year but atleast the tractors are a given, I hope this year is even bigger and better!

I’ll have the trailer and at least two tractors. If I get my arse in gear I might bring a third, and if mr.modified wants my simplicity 4212, that’ll be 4

Cool looking place, I had never heard of it till now. Unfortunately I already have my summer atv trip scheduled to go to badlands in Attica.

Preregistration complete for Me, Dennis, and our buddy Chris who is making his first trip to Haspin in 10 or more years.

Chris is the owner of the Ghost Rider, right?

Looking to arrive Wed 23rd Evening but will head out Sat morn the 26th.

Pre-Registration is complete for me. I also have my vacation approved with work. I will have the family so I may park off to the side. I will be registering one of my girls to ride as well, but I will take her out individually when everyone is chillin.  She is not advanced enough for most of the trails. 

I know there’s a group that comes that are all pretty entry level. Gimps kids and the other guys. I think she’ll catch on quick

That is correct.  I'm sure he'll be happy we broke, er worked, all the kinks out of his tractor.


Good to see MightRaze is going to be coming out with guests! Haspin increases....

I’m bringing at least one friend, don’t know if luke is gonna make it again or not. His football schedule in the summer is pretty chaotic.

Gonna be a great time! I can’t wait!

Johnathan won’t be coming with me this year, but hopefully I’ll have the rv up and running! I may even bring my bbq smoker along!

Now I just need to work on my back to be trail ready.

@MightyRaze also I believe Andy will be out with his kid, and like Cooter said, there’s a lot more level of riders coming out now. Plus I don’t mind a slow paced ride every once and awhile I’d even come ride with you and your daughter

Nothing too technical for her.  She's only ridden on flat ground so far.  Maybe I can get her more up to speed by then.  She listens pretty well.

ill see what my grandpa thinks ive got two mowers. do they have to be registered as atvs or can we have regular modified mowers? my JD and troy bilt would do pretty well exept the fact that they have open diffs

How late can you do your pre-registration? I probably won't know if I can make it until late May.
