Annual Haspin Acres Trip June 12th-16th 2013

Hey guys! The Mower Cycle Gang is going to be out at Haspin Acres in Laurel, IN this summer. Come on out and ride with us, talk tractors, look at (and perhaps bum an offroad ride in) military vehicles, etc.

Where: Haspin Acres, located in Laurel, IN
When: June 12th through 16th.
What: We go to a military vehicles rally with the Steel Soldiers, but spend as much time or more romping on our rally tractors.

Haspin is about 800 acres. Ride anywhere but campground. No electricity or water in campground. One set of restrooms and showers, about 1/8th mile from campground, and they can be very muddy. Water is available at office, and beside drag strip. Can camp in woods or campground. Last I knew, the price to get in is about $18 per day, people with the steelsoldiers rally get a discount, and active military members get an additional discount (usually free & requires ID).

Edited to add: Haspin requires all riders to wear helmets on the trails. If you do not bring a helmet, they won't let you ride.

I wish i could come. Maybe next year Ill come out.

I might be able to make it down there this year! Only a 12hr drive but I need to find a trailer for enough spare parts.

So would I, just have to be careful with turning as it is a bit top heavy. Actually it's just heavy. Around 900 pounds if i remember right.

I think theres a paintball course out in Indiana that I wanna hit up in a few years. If I end up going then ill probably attend.

I've never been paint balling, we have paintball course around where i live, there's about 6 in Cornwall, I've just never been.

I edited the title for clarity so everyone knows when the trip is.

Anyone planning to come out and bring a tractor has just over 100 days to get it trail ready.... just sayin.

i wish i coukd make it you guys are sooooo lucky

10 hours with pee breaks (lol!!) ill be there in 2014? ill se how things are, I mean its like a $250-$450 to go romp tractor, I guess its worth it. ill have ti find out, well see!

@ Redline - There are a few of you guys in the Northeast US... maybe you could work something out to convoy down there and split costs.

The more and more the map in This Thread fills in, the more central this rally looks for folks.

BTW, less than 50 days now

Would very much like to arrange a weekend romp and camp session near here one of these years. Not a lot of builders like me around close by, so it might take some time to arrange
