2019 Top Tractor Challenge, 8/17 - 8/18 [ATLTF Official Event]

T-shirt’s have been ordered, your 25$ buy in covers your T-shirt and food/drinks
I decided on grey to help keep cooler in the sun yet avoid showing stains as easily since we all are grease monkeys, I went back through some old FourWheeler magazine coverage of the Top Truck Challenge and tried to do the shirt design similar to theirs, so I hope you guys like them as much as I do

One more weekend of prep before its time to throw down! Coming up too fast but I cant wait!

We have a hill climb I got the okay! So add the hill climb to the event list, Mudstirr came out last weekend and helped me fully clear out the rest of the lot, 15 tons of fill should be there for when I get up there on Friday, pictures of obstacles should be up starting the beginning of next week! This is going to be a blast and I hope everyone is as excited as me!

@redzz02 To clarify: "The operational kill switch requirement" Is it tethered or UN-tethered?

Un tethered just a working key switch or toggle counts as a killswitch, don’t sweat it

OMG!!! The TTC is coming. The anticipation is way better than Xmas eve. Anybody do a roll call as to all who are attending. ADMIN are you guys going to do a right up on the main page. This is considered a major event. Tractor build offs guys should be chomping at the bit to show off there stuff at this event.

Yea I think we've been pretty open about it. Redzz is the mastermind though, we just slap our logo on it lol.

@Mister_Studabaker most people aren’t cool like us and drive far distances to play tractors, I think they’ve been doing a good job at advertising it, I should be advertising it myself more but I have more on my plate of actually being ready for when you all get here lol, we are gonna have 10 competing tractors +/- a couple so it’s going to be a good time, I’ll see most of you tomorrow evening!

Yeah, @redzz02 has been posting it to all the groups he is a member.  :-)  Also, it is still early in this event's development and redzz02 only has so much space at this time.  Who knows where this will go!  It is exciting none the less.


While I cannot come this year (maybe in the future), I am excited to see the Videos later.

@muddstir thank you sir it means a lot, if you had Facebook you’d see that literally everyone was wrenching yesterday and I still will be today haha so don’t feel bad none of us were ready either!

I would like to thank everyone who came out for the top tractor challenge 2019. It is definitely one for the books! Such a big thanks to everyone that helped pitch in to help fund, build, and support this event. And an extra special thanks to the girlfriend for helping me work 12 hour days full of manual labor this past week to build the obstacles to make this happen! Even though it rained pretty hard twice today it made everything very interesting. We had gnarly carnage, several roll overs, and countless smiles and memories. Everyone did an amazing job and should be proud of them selves. With all that said I have tons of photos and video to sift through, so keep and eye out in the next few weeks for videos to start rolling out! Cheers to an amazing time and let’s make a 2020 TTC happen seen you all next year!

I had a blast at the Top Tractor Challenge 2019. It was really nice meeting everyone and getting to look at your machines in person. Then seeing them in action was just amazing. Everybody did an excellent job at this event.  

Did you say Top Tractor Challenge 2020 - man I best start working on the tractor now so I'm a little more prepared for this one.

Everything worked out pretty well. You guys probably got some really nice footage, can't wait to see it edited. Think I came in around 7th place.

I saw the live footage, but I can't wait to see the rest of the footage!

Between 4 cameras we got a lot of footage so it’s gonna be a little while but we’ll have them out in the next couple weeks! From what I can tell everyone had a blast. their is definitely room for improvements for next year and I think we could handle 5 more tractors but it would be pushing it, so for 2020 I would like to try and get a few more competitors!

I think I would need a new tractor to be competitive. The simplicity is a bit too top heavy and not quite enough HP.
