At the end a non official $50 was paid to muddstir I believe for "Best Carnage." He rolled over backwards twice and pretty much got crushed. And like the true dedicated racer he is, still got back on and finished out the course.
I thought he might have messed up his wrist or something at first, it didn't look so great (when he flipped). So then after the first roll over, everyone gets the tractor flipped back over and he gets back on. Friggin thing flips over again on the 2nd try. Gets back on a 2nd time.... At this point I'm thinking, ok guys, no matter what, this time we gotta get him up and over. 3rd time worked out ok with a bunch of people on standby and pushing on the back of the machine. Noticed sean accidently touched muddstir's exhaust pipe for a sec since it sticks out through a hole in the rear fender about 1". Before that I scratched my left hand a bit trying to grab the machine as it flipped.
That's not to say muddstir had anything messed up on his tractor, everyone is in about the same boat with things sticking out from the machine I think.
When I flipped the simplicity, part of the hood rack got my arm as I was jumping out of the way. Good thing I had the edges rounded off a bit or it might have cut me pretty bad. I think when your building these things, it's a good idea to try to think about sharp edges sticking out and where things might land on you if you flip over ect. The more things you take care of, the less chance you will get hurt.
On a side note, Certainly not criticizing the editing which is great. But I was just trying various dramatic music backgrounds. If you play this on another tab and mute the TTC trailer while playing it half speed it's pretty cool lol.
