2019 Top Tractor Challenge, 8/17 - 8/18 [ATLTF Official Event]

Too bad this wasnt closer... I happen to work at a sandstone quarry. Im sure I could get all manner of stone from gravel to small boulders lol.

I wasn’t able to get as much as I wanted to but I was able to get a full dump trailer load with my little loader, if I can borrow a skid loader I can go get more, this should be a good amount to make a uphill waterfall crawl

Sounds like things are gonna be pretty tough. Maybe I should just leave my bent up steering wheel on there for now. Sounds like I'm gonna be rolling the simplicity again.

I'll be bringing my famous tarp tent! Just in case anyone was thinking of building one for themselves and wants to check out all the dimensions...It'll be a good time to take a look.

We are going to go with a 25$ Fee per driver that will cover food and water and possibly a Ttc tshirt.

It’s hard to tell what everyone needs or would actually use, plus everyone has different mowchines so upgrades get confusing. So that being said this is the unofficial prize list,

1st place: trophy and 150$ Or a customs set of rock rings of your choice and 100$
2nd place: trophy and 75$
3rd place: trophy and 50$
4th place: trophy and 25$

This is how the prizes are for now, they may change if I figure out good itemized prizes

Seems fair enough to me. Is there a rough idea on how many people plan on coming? I am definitely planning on being there, I know doug is going.

i would like to do tshirts for the event. anyone that plans on entering and being there the 17th please get into contact with me with your tshirt size. either pm me on here or facebook. i would like to do a cool logo on the front, and maybe another logo on the back along with the list of all the event sponsors on the back.

if anyone has a simple but cool logo design please pm me on here or message me on facebook(my personal or espyville mudders page) possibly loosely resembling the Top Truck Challenge style of logo or even better can someone modify the ATLTF.com round logo? but obviously saying Top Tractor Challenge 2019. if someone comes up with a good logo you can be put on the sponsor list as well.

also my good friend should be present during the event with his high quality camera set up and gimbal to film and take high quality photos through out the day so their should be some really decent coverage of everything.

Looks good to me. Also cool to have the logo the same setup as the ATLTF logo.

Question of the day..... During this event, would it really be necessary for me to have my winch or use any lights?

If we will be doing timed runs and I get stuck bad enough to need a winch, one would assume that run is pretty much over anyway right?

@mr.modified  we will have a utility quad on hand with a winch if necessary but no one should be getting stuck enough needing to winch except the mud run and the quad will be pulling everyone out, you are more than welcome to use the winch if you get into a bind and would like to finish a run, but it is not required and you will not need to use lights.

If someone gets stuck and has a winch on their rig they are welcome to use it and finish the obstacle, if the person does not have a winch and needs to be winched out they will get a DNF

Each event will be based on time, distance, and penalties to get a final score. So even if you do have to pull a winch it may take awhile but could give you an advantage over other competitors, but like I said above you really shouldn’t need it

I gotta get out there and do some practice running too. Too bad I jetted my new carb too rich and now I have to wait for jets...... Time is ticking!

Here’s an image with the names of all the campgrounds in the area, most of you guys are planning on pitching a tent in the yard which is fine with the turn out we are having, just giving everyone options

Stickers have arrived! And I’m ordering shirts tonight! Only a few more weeks until TTC 2019 I talked to my buddy and almost 100% sure we will have a “hill climb” event in the line up! Can’t wait to see all of you guys and compete

@Mister_Studabaker as my original post on the event, drivers meeting will be at 9-930am and then we will start 930-10am I have not decided on exactly what order everything will go in (as I’m still clearing property and haven’t built any courses, DONT WORRY I’m up their every weekend and the whole week prior to it on vacation preparing) we may do the courses that aren’t on my own property first which are the rock crawl and possible hill climb, we will load all the rigs onto my trailer and haul them their, both are right up the road so literally a minute drive. I do know the Mud bog will be last event. We will either 1. Do a couple events and then take a mid day break and eat. Or 2. Power through all the events and then eat/bs/swap knowledge/relax.

I really still haven’t figured everything out yet, I’m still ordering stuff, renting things, and all the fun behind the scenes stuff.
Another big thing is I’m not sure how long all of this is going to take so it’s hard to necessarily set in stone a time line, but I can say After we determine the winners anyone is welcome to do any of the obstacles on their own or if everyone is up for it, we can go on a small ride.

I decided on grey to help keep cooler in the sun yet avoid showing stains as easily since we all are grease monkeys, I went back through some old FourWheeler magazine coverage of the Top Truck Challenge and tried to do the shirt design similar to theirs, so I hope you guys like them as much as I do
