I have been chatting with a few member of the forum and I believe I'm gonna try and host an ATLTF Top Tractor Challenge
Where? Pymatuming Pennsylvania
When? Early August 4th or 11th both Saturday's
What? Mud bog, time trials, rock coarse, obstacle coarse, tow test, and maybe a few other events.
Prizes? Bragging rights, Prizes and trophies for the winners
Who? Anyone with an off-road mower will be welcome (cannot gaurentee it'll be kid friendly)
Basically it would be a points system kind of like the top truck Challenge and who ever places Highest in points wins.
Some mentioned it being too far of a drive for just a day event, so I was thinking TTC on Saturday and anyone that wants to pitch a tent and spend the night is welcome to and possibly do a romp day on Sunday.
Bring your own beer, drinks, food, And sleeping arrangements
Whole thing would get filmed including driver interview and there rig, full event filmed and edited into a series and put on my channel, I think it would be a really cool event.
Let me know your thoughts and wether or not it would be something you'd like to come out and participate in

I think we all forgot about it cause it came and went lol. I dont think I can make any more events this year, gonna be busy doing adult stuff up at my own camp.
@Creepycrawler@Doug nothing was ever set in stone and I never set an exact date, I had too much stuff going on to set up courses good enough to make it worth while for everyone's drive, I'm up here for the week and I started to make some revisions and planning out the events. I think me and the couple local buddies are gonna do a dry run this weekend and see if it's gonna be something worth for everyone else. So possibly plan for late spring or early fall of next year to have a big event if everyone likes the coarses. So my apologies for not updating, but since everyone pretty much forgot it's all good haha

Okay so if you guys haven't seen it yet the dry run for the ATLTF Top Tractor Challenge has fully been uploaded along with the bloopers reel. 2019 seems like it's going to be a go after the tecumseh trails meet up and talking to some of the guys they are interested in attending.
So here's where you guys come in, what events would you like to see? I personally do not own a lot of property but I know people that do, I'm gonna do my best to do as many events on my own land as possible.
100% there will be a rock crawl, mud pit, and an timed obstacle coarse, what other events would you like to see?
Tow test, tug of war, or like just multiple obstacle coarses? Let me know what you think
THERE WILL NOT BE A HILL CLIMB, as much as I've come to love hills and would love to put it in the event list. There are no hills in my area so there fore there cannot be a hill climb.
Let me know what you guys think, maybe it can be just a bunch of different difficult obstacle coarses?

@Crazy_Carl yeah that would most likely not be able to happen, I was thinking along the lines of top truck challenge they pull like a full water truck up a hill, maybe we could have something that's stupid Harvey that you'd have to pull up a slight incline, I'm not too sure

Just kidding, I like the tow test, back when I pulled tractors our test “sled” was a old truck bed liner we threw bricks and whatever other heavy stuff we had laying around in, worked really good actually. We could always have a drag race too and maybe a “tank trap” that had a couple of hard obstacles and couple deep mud holes that you might have to winch or help your tractor through, but do that event on points kinda basis, like trials or rock crawling? Like a point off for backing up 10 points for a foot touching the ground to keep you from tipping, 20 for winching 30 for pushing or something like that, just kinda spitballing ideas

@Creepycrawler heck yeah man hill climb it is lol, we could definitely do the bed liner sled and just fill it full of junk, during our events we had a 1 second penalty for hitting a cup but nothing on back ups I love the idea though. I've been planning on getting enough dirt to make a 6-10 foot tall mound to incorporate obstacles into it. I would love to do a tank trap style coarse I was actually thinking about setting something really difficult up and having certain designated winch points with a quad with a winch ready if you couldn't make it up a certain part. I love the idea of being penitalized for using a foot to stabil yourself or backing up,
We are going to expand our rock coarse a lot also.
I'm also going to dig a straight line mud bog instead of having one that twists and turns like ours did in the video.
Ultimately I plan to make some very technical difficult obstacles but not so difficult that they are unpassable
Keep the ideas flowing!

I’ll be honest I really like your twisty bog. But all those ideas sound solid, I would add if you have some winch sections you should make it more points if you use the atv winch than If you use your own winch, gives some points to rigs like Carl’s that are a bit more prepared
