| Yes I could. I will see how it goes. I already notice way less play in the steering just by pushing it around the yard. | |

| List of whats left: -Paint EVERYTHING before it rusts bad. -Idler pulley and engine pulley belt retainer -Buy longer link bolts -Remove electrical and simplify -Add a pull start -Tighten down carburetor -Find tube for snorkel -Get sheet metal and make a custom hood -Attach breather to intake -Wire up pod lights -Attach tips to exhaust and some more things that I'm not too sure i'll do yet. I will also find stuff as I go. | |

| Large-ish Update!! I am re doing the front end suspension. I didn't even end up trying the original set up. But it had no bounce or flex to it. and I realized that my goofy system wouldn't be as good as one that has been perfected over many decades. I am going with a long arm setup. I want it to be solid, be able to flex and take a beating. This is a rough design. I quickly chopped off the old system this evening to make a clear starting point. It shouldn't take too long, the most difficult thing will be the springs, I want to take them out of the absorber to test their rigidity if possible?? I will probably just make bucket style retainers for the spring. Enough talking, here's a few pics, Ill keep ya'll updated. | |

| Lol, you're a far better artist than me.
If I were you, I'd just take an angle grinder and chop everything from the stock axle hole down and forward off, and brace what you have left with square tubing. That way you have a lot more room to work with for suspension.

| Thanks for the tip but I think I have enough room to work with now. Shouldn't be to hard to drop a panhard bar in the channel stock there. | |

| painted a few more panels, the clutch pieces, brake linkage, etc.. Quite thick goopy spray paint for some reason, so it might take a day or so to dry, also I bought 20$ worth of nuts and bolts for the various heim joints on the links, now I just need some metal form the scrapyard. All is good. | |

| Yes, but would it be ok to get rid the excess material or is that adding rigidity to the hub? | |

| The old part of the actual white rim that sticks out past where the flat hub center piece meets the ATV rim. | |

| Alright, that's what I was thinking. Installed the clutch back in, everything articulates fine. Looks good. The paint on the rims finally set, and it looks sooo good. I will probably do the rear wheels or at least the hubs. | |

| Got some new shocks that seem to be less stiff. Obviously they bolt on differently but they should work fine. I'll leave them in the absorber for now. The metal is to finish the arms. | |

| I think you'll have better luck with those shocks.
Are you going with rebar link arms? That's pretty cool but what diameter are they?

| The rebar is about the same size as the other stuff probably like 3/4 or something. Should be solid enough, I couldn't find any other round stock at the scrapyard. The shocks did drop a little when I set the mower on them, that's a good thing. Ill try and finish the suspension on Monday. | |

| That rattle can stuff is really turning out nice.
Oh and I'd cut that outer part of the rim off. You can brace what you have left but I don't really think it's necessary.

| I am almost done, I need to order a few more heim joints because I messed up and it doesn't flex. I will paint everything when I finish up the panhard bar. Then I will do the steering after. | |
