Thats not something you want to break loose when your runnin away from the cops! That and, if you deceide to slap some paint on there, that will be the first place you see rust coming through. Then you will be mad. Like me.
Another thought, for your throttle stop... IF it end up breaking off.... Drill a hole in the floor board for a long bolt, then use 2 nuts to keep it tight. That should be pretty stout. Yeah I might give that a try with the welds, we'll see. I was gonna clean it up and then clear coat it, I thought that would look cool for a rat rod tractor That was my initial idea for the throttle stop, wouldn't be as easy to break as what I did, haha. If this breaks I'll definitely do it the way you said. | Had to put a tube in my left rear tire because it wouldn't take air. Glad to FINALLY have that fixed hahaha. I guess a 20" tube works pretty good in an 18.5" tire hahaha!! But don't tell nobody! I'm gonna repaint all the rims red and re-do the whitewalls next I think, they're looking pretty rough. Stay tuned! | Yeah the welds would've looked better if I could have gotten to the spot better, but I didn't want to take the engine out haha. Yeah that slot is where the old hand throttle was. Yeah I used an old Miller buzz-box stick welder for this. But I usually use an old Lincoln. | Still just little stuff today, I cut up two of the bushings from the old axle so I could have washers for the top on the spindle knuckles: And as a bonus the washers also act as something for the pointy dust covers to snap on to! Works out quite well! Hahaha.
