Decided to repaint my engine tins yesterday because they needed some freshening up:

Also I added this funny little decorative item:

It's a broken piston out of an old Kohler K321, it doesn't serve a purpose other that decoration but I love it hahaha! Let me know what ya think!

HAHA! I love it. Tins look great too. Blue compliments the patina of the tractor. I haven't checked the tube lately. Any new vids of this thing driving out there? May have to go out there in a few anyways! LOL

Once it's "done" I plan on taking it home for a while before it goes back to the farm, so hopefully then I'll get some video of me ripping it up and down my street.

I did a bit of clear coating on some of my parts today.

I got some decent shine afterwards:

It'll probably look better out in the sun. I'm gonna clear the rest of the chassis soon so hopefully she'll look all purty when I'm done hahaha.

Finally got my brakes re assembled on this thing. I figured I'd be nice to be able to stop before hitting something hahaha.

The lever also locks into place so I have sort of a parking brake as well! Let me know what ya think!

Lookin good. It could be the picture angle, but you will need to be careful not to catch that lever and rod.

Thanks mighty. Yeah, its pretty low hahaha. But its a lot better than it was. The axle is pretty low to the ground so anything that wouldn't pass under that I'm gonna avoid. Street rig only!! Haha!

I was able to steal a snowmobile tie-rod for the rat rod today. I had to chop it 2" and re-weld it but after that it was perfect!

Its got some pretty nice ends so I'm happy with it! I guess ill ditch the old tie-rod and use the hiems joints for something else. Let me know what ya think!

Thanks! No there's still about 1 1/2"-2" of clearance between the frame and the rod at full lock.
