ahhhh damn bud if its shooting full out like that (happend before) its the fuel pump i highly recommend changing the oil and rebuilding the fuel pump then install a fuel shut off valve because these engines have pressure when tured off so the fuel pump keeps pumping fuel in

I clamped the fuel lines for a while with my carbs but over time it wore it down and cut the line. I got a fuel cut off switch from tractor supply for like 8 dollars (I think thats the cheapest I have saw) It is a lot of money for something like that, but its totally worth it.

The shut-off valve is a bandage. What really needs attention is the float/fuel inlet needle and valve assembly. Rated popoff pressure is 5psi. Fuel pump rated pressure is about 1.5psi while running. There's no reason to need that shutoff valve to keep from flooding the cylinders/crank case.

I have mine so I can cut fuel to the carbon and let it burn most or it out anyways. For when it sits
