Welp it's been about a month since I've been on here. Not much happening besides living the college life. Everyone talks about it like all we do is party and get laid and I'm sure that's true for some but definitely not me. Lol! .......I'd prefer to not do either but the college life for me is spending roughly 65 hours a week doing school work.
But my communications class only last for 2 more weeks so I'm pretty happy about that! So hopefully I'll have the weekends off. Can't complain too much, I have the opportunity to go to college and not everyone gets to do that.

Christmas came early again the other day. The Person who is carpooling me to school works for husky tools, and he is the person who presents the tools to home depot so they can decide if there gonna sell them. So there was tons of extra tools just lying around. He brought me 10 moving boxes of sockets, adapters, extensions, ratchets, plain wrenches, wrenches where the box end ratchets, wrenches where both ends ratchet, gear pullers, oil filter wrenches, work lights, multi bit screw drivers, breaker bars, files, just everything you could imagine.

my gfs uncle has a mtd with a powermore engine which is the worst mower on the market so im gonna see about getting it from him when he gives up on fixing it and "build" it for random people in town to ride and bash it into trees and stuff because the powermore is a terrible engine you cant buy parts for and theres no way to fix them unless you have a parts engine.

New mini house at work today. Hell of a deal. Couldn’t pass it up. Also got 3/8, 1/2” Milwaukee guns as well as a Milwaukee drill for dirt cheap. Building my tool collection so I can take my other stuff home to work on my toys lol.

I put up a 16 foot light strip in the shop a few weeks ago. I think it looks pretty good. Definitely makes for good pictures. Not nearly enough light to work in but it looks cool lol.

Also... is that Blue's hood on the MM in your picture? My curiosity has once again let itself loose it seems.
If you're referring to my profile pic then that would be Blue himself. The MM (Mountain Murray) is my orange widebody. Blue's color is red of course. Because that just makes perfect sense.

Should be good with a frame stiffening. Lots of people use craftsmans. Stretch44875, TheRainbowBoxer, CraftsmanQuad19, even Mister_Studabaker has a craftsman like you avatar to just name a few.

would it be smart to leave no front axle travel i plan to take this tractor to haspin at some point or i have it setup where i can cut the frame to add travel the wa i built it but right now it only has an inch of travel on each side. its a rally tractor so its kinda made to go fast offroad and on road its the one in my pfp i moved the axle forward and mmade everything work accodingly i also just kinda thought about the idea of limiting straps and adding a whole bunch of travel but have limiting straps when i dont want travel

Well I ended up buying a new to me car a couple weeks ago! It's a fully running and driving 1974 Plymouth Satellite with only 90,000 original miles. This thing is truly mint! Everything works except the windshield wipers, fuel gauge, temp gauge and the AC. But everything else works including the original radio. It even has the original spare tire in the trunk and the owners manual. The only rust I've found is in the rear window channel so rain does leak into the trunk but the trunk is 100% solid. My goal is to have a good reliable daily driver to swap back in fourth with my truck.
Nothing fancy just a 318 v8 and I'm assuming a 904 transmission. Basically a 100% grandma car. It is a base model but being a car it has way more options than my truck has.

My plan for now is to go through the entire car and make sure everything is working properly and give it a good service since it's definitely done a lot more sitting than driving. After that I'll work on cosmetics like possibly getting rid of the vinyl top and repainting the top to match the body. I know the radiator is leaking a little bit so it's either going to have to get fixed or I'm going to replace it but I'll cross that bridge when I get there. Right now I'm waiting till college settles down so I can get a job and start working again.
man, that's a nice car if you want an easy way to remove the vinyl top go to youtube and search puddings fab shop ABANDONED Caprice! Pressure Washing, Rats Nest, and MORE! and watch to about 27:55

@MN mudder I'll have to watch that! I feel like if I dont get rid of the vinyl top it'll end up like most vinyl top cars and get moister up underneath it and rot out.
But in all seriousness I think I got a pretty good deal on it and these cars really ain't worth a whole lot. 67 to 72 chevy trucks go for more than most of these I've seen. Not a lot of people know what these cars are. Everyone thinks it's a Plymouth Fury or a Dodge Polara but its actually a b-body, it's like a Dodge Charger or Plymouth Roadrunner just a little longer and obviously a four door.
The Dodge version of this car is a Cornet and then later the more known 77-78 Monico, which is most notable for being the police cars in The Dukes of Hazzard.
fun fact on dukes of Hazzard the first cop car used in the first episode "one-armed bandits" was a 70 dodge Polara 4 door. cooter who is driving it then flips it.

I've done some pretty mean things to my craftsman and it didnt care. Just brace the frame around the front axle and the front axle itself and it'll be golden.
