| Subject: Haspin 2020, June 10th-14th, Mowercycle (mowrons!) gang. Where: Haspin Acres, located in Laurel, IN When: Wednesday June 10th through Sunday June 14th, 2020. What: Offroad rally, talk shop, swap parts, and hang out with some awesome friends. Who: Anybody with (or without) an off-road mower can hang with the Mowercycle Gang at this rally. Haspin is about 800 acres. Trail difficulty ranges from easy to "Are you out of your mind?!?". Ride anywhere but in the campground. No electricity or water provided in the campground. There is one set of restrooms and showers, about 1/8th mile from campground (They have been very muddy in the past, but better in recent years) Water is available for hosing off rides and riders. Camping is available in woods or campground. Last I knew, the price to get in is about $18 per day, active military members get an additional discount (usually free, but does require military ID). Haspin Website: http://www.haspinacres.comJoin the growing craziness! *****IMPORTANT NOTES!***** Haspin requires all riders to wear helmets on all trails. If you do not bring a helmet, they won't let you ride. If you are under age and planning to come, you must work out the Haspin Acres waiver ahead of time or come with a parent. We do not want anyone to drive a long distance and be turned away at the gate. We will not pretend to be anyone's parents, and we are not responsible for you. As we are doing this rally jointly with Steelsoldiers, be respectful of these very cool guys and their very cool rides. Expect to break your tractor. Be prepared with tools and parts. Yes I copied and pasted last years post LOL | |

| I’m definitely going. Mk2, possibly dads quad, and most likely the ranger. Might bring a friend with his quad and the mower if we can get it built | |

| Anyone that is debating wether or not to come I highly suggest this year you make it, high potential for the most mowers at haspin this year, there’s atleast 8 people that haven’t been to haspin yet that are planning on going this year. Including them and all the repeat offenders that didn’t make it last year. We have a potential to have about 20 tractors on the trail at once | |

| Hmm. I'm thinking about it... What would y'all say the least amount of mods required to make Haspin are?? Can I get away with no suspension and a good set of turfs? I'll have a reinforced frame, locked diff, pulley swap and all that, but I'm not sure I can get my hands on a good set of offroad tires.
Also, IF I do make it to Haspin and anyone has a decent set of knobbies or V-treads they'd be willing to trade up there, PM me... I could really use a pair.

| @Murraymountain suspension isn’t not needed 95% of the tractors don’t have suspension, I have tires and always coming into new ones, locked diff, good belt guards, a pulley swap are the three main things that you’d want to have the best possible time but they aren’t necessary. I’ll pm you about the tires | |

| Turfs are fine as long as you stay out of the mud. When it’s dry this stuff dries like pavement. When it’s wet, we stay out of it regardless of what tires we have haha...well most of us anyway. | |

| Like CQ said, turfs will be fine, cut turfs will work better. Especially if you can air down, lots of rocks.
Ill be out. Plan on bringing the Pathfinder, the GT, the disposable, and stealing another rig. Should be hella fun this year. Ill have to think hard about what I bring camp wise. My canopy took a bad beating last year and probably wont be bringing it. Might get a new one or some more of those 8x8/10x10 canopies. | Alright. I'm gonna try and get a set of V-treads before then, but if not, cut turfs are the plan.

| I should have the Simplicity Adventure Edition out this year, plus the new build as long as it's ready by then. Still deciding on some various camping options. Gonna need an upgrade from my tarp tent I think.
Fack what happened to your super canopy??? You back over it or something?

| Alright so, working on my super HASPIN transport! ---1971 Ford Camper---Feast your eyes on this gentleman. I'll be cruising across the eastern half of the united states in style this june Had it fired up and running the other day after a bit of ignition point filing. The back half sagged down a little causing this slight hole near the roof. After I re-align the rear half of the body with some scissor jacks and brace things back up I'll take care of that with some expanding foam. Don't worry about those wires. Most went to interior lighting. I pretty much gutted the inside. The reason I had to gut it was because the wooden structure had some rotten spots from water always leaking in. Also everything inside was in tough shape. So now I can patch things up enough to make it to haspin without the whole thing blowing apart on the highway. Hope we don't get a heavy snow before I get a chance to brace the roof up in the back, I took out most of the rotted braces so there's not a whole lot holding it up. Gonna break out the scrap plywood and wood screws and start bracing. Also gonna need some new interior lights and a new bathroom door. Few other small items and we're good to roll. Maybe some orange paint too not 100% sure yet. | |

| So will you be pulling a trailer with this for the tractors, or building the back half into kind of a toy hauler like your camper last year? What’s it have for power? 460 and a c6 trans? | |

| I know, I was asking if you’ll be putting a door in the back of this to turn it into a toy hauler or if you’ll just tow the tractors behind it | |

| I keep telling him to back-half it lol.
If youre gonna brace it you could use those steel wall studs. Not the heaviest things but easy to work with and lighter than 2x4s Head Forum Administrator ** Chat Moderator ** Facebook Page AdminATLTF Facebook Page ** Chatbox ** How To Upload Pictures

| I think it's just a 302 in it. My original plan was to cut the back off but it's pretty beat, so I figure it isn't worth getting fancy. Plus, I don't have enough time. It's a lot faster just to quick patch it and go.
Has a trailer hitch so we're gonna pull the aluminum trailer out with it. The one my dad brought out in 2018 with my jeep. Sold the jeep since then and my dad's truck has 320,000 on it so we don't have much left at the moment. Unless we actually went out and bought some good equipment like we're supposed to but what fun would that be. Might do some off roading at haspin with this thing too while we're there.
