As for the bmw... looks good. Although the one word I always hear describing them is "moneypit".

Moneypit seems about right, but for as long as I plan on keeping it and for what I paid, not bad. I just wish it was a damn stick. Need my third pedal dangit!!

And I didn’t know red was over here. I just assumed he was on the Northeast coast somewhere

Okay this is random but I know you can buy Roms Peerless gearsets to internally speed up 820s but what about speeding up other transaxles?? I know Stretch44875 spead up the 900 series in his RER rally tractor and a guy on Instagram recently spead up a mst206! His went 40mph in 4th gear with alittle over 1 to 1 pulleys! Does anybody haveany knowledge on how to do this or a video or artlicle link they could drop? Thanks!

I've been wanting a lathe bad these days because I've got a ton of pulleys I need to either drill out or I wish I could just turn down the hubs. Stupid question but my grandpa has a lathe for wood working not sure if it's that powerful but is there a chance it would work for some metal working?

Having something to turn something in is better than nothing. You can take little bits off with a file or angle grinder while it's spinning if you have to. You gotta understand that wood lathes are meant to use hand chisels, and you can only turn certain types of brass with chisels.

This is providing you have a shaft to put between centers to put pulleys on or he has a 3 jaw chuck for it.

I'll have to take another look at it but that would be a game changer for me.

Keep an eye out for lathes on facebook marketplace and stuff. They come around once in a while reasonably priced. You gotta jump on them quick too, I barely got mine.

Well I'm a bit late to the party CQ, but it's a BMW, so remember to check the blinker fluid.  BMWs often leak blinker fluid and then the turn signals fail altogether.

Actually I’ve made sure to always use my turn signals. I’m not THAT BMW driver...

Turn signals are optional down here apparently. And nobody realizes that when the stoplight is out it turns into a 4 way stop. Almost got hit twice going to work with my boss in his rental last week.

Hahahahahaha that’s hilarious. Last time I was in Florida I was driving my dads F250 super duty...nobody picked a fight with me haha

Mopeds are fun to drive but not to work on. Also not fun to find air boxes for, I guess.

Also I finally got my oppy swapped RER out and mowing today for the first time in months. It really needs a new deck spindle and the blade sharpened. Isn't lacking power but it doesn't cut very nice

All but one of my spare oppy carbs. Got one in my room somewhere.


Guess tonight I'll try to get the 20.5 pressure lube oppy i got a few weeks ago running. Haven't done anything to it since i broke it loose with a ratchet

Speaking of pressure lube Oppy. I was in Ft Worth most of the day today and was thinking.... on the way home I could swing out and grab that one with the oil cooler. Opened the ad and they didn't have any contact information for the Scotts tractor I posted a couple days ago. I would have grabbed it. Oh well....

Hate it when people do that. Oh well.

Got the oppy to fire on carb cleaner. I still gotta tear into it more to fix the starter and replace what looks to be a shopping bag intake gasket

Oh boy. Last night I was messing around with some of my photos and the computer imported them into "Photos". Well I did not want them there, so I checked off 110 photos to be deleted. "Delete the selected 110 items?" "Yes". Little did I know to take the memory card out of the computer, and lo and behold, when I put the chip back in the camera, everything from May 25th to now, gone. And from 1 hour of trying to get them back, they are no longer in this computer.

Thats why I learnt that uploading almost everything on FB helps a lot, cuz its like a free digital picture cloud, U can download them pics anytime everywhere!

So my dad was just outside weed eating, and missed the biggest hornet nest I've seen in my life by an inch or so. You can see how close it was...
