| Final update for the night. Fuel system is done, wiring is almost done, battery tray is made but needs mounted, battery is purchased (375 amp. Biggest they had). I’ll be running the factory headlights directly off the battery so they are brighter. And if I can figure out right where to mount the horns I’ll have them too.
Left to do: -hog out engine mount holes -finish wiring (80% done) -mount battery tray -clean carb -oil -trans breather -steering links and bell crank -throttle/choke
In the Grand scheme of things that’s not a very long list. Shouldn’t take TOO terribly long if I can find the parts I need quickly tomorrow

| Your horns are going to last one ride if you hit the mud or water at any speed, I hope their is more than just zip ties holding that tank on and my only other concern is the vent cap spraying fuel up on your crotch. It’s really tight up under the dash I don’t really like putting batteries up there myself but it may work for you, I’d modify the existing battery box under the fenders for now, maybe take weld some 3/4 inch pieces right around the rim so the box rests on them. Or you could run a piece of flat iron across the frame rails at what ever height you need it to be at | |

| Just like the guys that wanted to argue with me about my can-am, are you going to teleport around mud holes and water crossings? I’m just messing with you but I have mine mounted up under the dash, you may be able to put some pantyhose around them to keep stuff out of them, I had one mounted in a similar location as you a long time ago and it stopped working after a couple rides, but I was full blown mudding that tractor | |

| Well I think I learned my lesson last year about haspin mud...stay the HELL away lmao. I know a little mud is unavoidable but not planning on hitting any hard or intentionally. Though I DO love mud....
I might just have enough room up at the front of the dash since I’m using my factory battery location, we shall see.

| Haha I won’t blow it up intentionally, but if it blows it blows. I only paid 50 bucks for it. Steering is coming along. Steering box is put back in, pitman arm is lengthened, bellcrank is mounted, getting really close even though it doesn’t really look any different than it did yesterday | |

| Cables still need done, and the exhaust is racked into place. After that it’s just a matter of bolting the dash together.
Electrical system is done, steering lineages are done, need to remount my steering box and think of a way to reinforce it, load my hammock and the mk2 in the trailer, charge my go pro and head out. I’m taking the ranger. If it starts up it runs fine. Occasionally if I shut it off it doesn’t restart, but it doesn’t stall. So if I don’t shut it off I’ll be fine lmao
I’m bringing the simplicity as a backup, and also because mister modified will not be making an appearance with his simplicity and I feel like one needs to be at haspin lol.
As far as getting it done quickly, I’ve dedicated almost every waking hour to this thing for the past week and a half to get it built. Has been a crazy week!
