id like to add the steering is a little rough, cased by the pice being bent on the right side were the bolt goes threw. friction otta fix that after time. actually not sure if i should grease it or not, because i want it to rub out a little. i prefer to be able to full turn the wheel with my pinky while driving. need a decent grip the wheel now.

Yeah, but instead of being ATLTF.com it was ATLTF.forummotion.com for a few days.

I was doing some research because mine doesn't steer that well either, and people were saying there's a adjustment on it that makes it easier to turn or something. Not sure about the details though.

my tight steering is 100% were the angle iron bolts to the turny wheel thing on the right side. its because its not flat from when i broke it off a while back. ball joint did not care, bolt and nut notices

well i did not know JB weld could be used on plastic or be resistant to gasoline till i seen a project farm video on it. so the 990 might be getting back its not tiny gast tank! witch is good becase it sucked having a 1 gallon tank that was cracked and could only hold 3/4 a gallon and having to bungie cord an extra gas can on top of the starter.
when it gets warm out i plan on making fenders for the 990 as i found a huge sheet meal sighn being thrown out. i think its aluminum so ile probably be using bolts and self tapping screws to put it together.

well, you got loads of empty space to put more gas in. im shure if you think about it you will come up with somthing good.. btw, can you show me how your generator is wired up to the rectifier and witch wires on the rectifier go to headlights, batt and ground? because i got nothing out of my rectifier, but my wiering was butcherd from last owner and i have to assume they did it right.. even they they had the key wired up wrong.

i got some headlights that fit in the hole to the point they have the notch on the side. i think i need to ask ripka if he can 3d print me a part i dont have.

a shorter video and pictures are to come lator on the week. but mud train got its first trail ride of the year and it surprised me with how well it handled going off the trail and driving over rocks and tree limbs. also the 3 gallons of washer fluid i added to each tire made a huge difference.
but its not all sunshine and rainbows, if you watch the video you will watch me about kill the motor, FYI i topped everythings oil off before i left.
ile do an inspection of the motor and see if theres anythign i can do without spending much money or removeing the fly wheel. if not, im bolting my 12hp to that trailer and riding arround with a tool set till that motor blows, then ile swap it when it goes.

here she is now. my mind is blown with how well it runs power wise with how bad it knocks and smokes. if i was not afraid of causing more damage i would take this thing up the trails right now and see how it performs. hopefully this weekend i can look at its innards and decide if im going to help it or run it till it blows.

just send it, then slap a Oppy or Vanguard on it, & U will love the new Engine!
send it were?
welp, glad to say, there is much less knuck after stripping things down, reming loose and un used parts of the tractor, and re-tightning everything, some of the knock was real, but it was exaggerated buy the tractor rattling.
i wonder hoe much new rings cost, i dont think this motor is near death and if price is right ile replace em.
