i still disagree, im taking alot of stress of the front axle, instead of just slamming it in to things trying to make the front wheels get over stuff. it will be easy and near stress free on front end. and thats the only way i have ever caused damage to a front axle. small tires has caused me problems on 4 front axles.

By changing the approach angle, you might be causing less stress on the frame. But I'm talking about the spindles and the torque you're going to be giving to the steering.

ile watch video. but my axle is cast iron, top speed 13mph, tie rod is angle iron and grade 8 bolts, steering rod is re-enforced with rebar. mtd has solid steering setup, and i might change ratio down the road. and agin, having big tires lifted out of the mud will be easier to steer than those little ones that let the axle scrape mud because of hoe heavy the tractor is.

the only way i could see me breaking this is if it went fast like dinky and i were to whip the wheel at high speeds. that sideways stress would be strong over leverage and the shock would be hard on the cast. but this thing is SLOW.
