| Well I really shouldn't but I might as well because the work on it will happen anyway. Here is my second build off entry. 92 Craftsman lt 4000 off road /utility build named "Muckraker". My plans are to pulley swap it , put the Briggs oppossed in it, new front tires of same size but better off road tread, paint it , give it a rack, front and back bumpers ,better towing hitch, storage, and have the possibility for yard work but a subdued off road machine for my friends to ride that doesn't go to fast . I will keep the rear tires as they hold air and have reasonable tread pattern and depth. Mabye some frame strenghening and skid plates if I get motivated to do that. -Approved by Doug, 3/18/2018 | |

| Well yes I just did! The carb had lots of rubber pieces and grass in it. Must have been from a dirty fuel line. It's now running great on zero choke! Got it back and had a slight detour through some mud on the road... man I have the projects..... I need two transaxles, or Three would be nice, as one of the mtds vari drive system is mucked up, or just like 6 or 7 transaxles to tide me over for a while | |

| It runs good now. Made a throttle cable so I can idle it down now . The mowing parts are going to be removed as I got a Mtd mowing and running well . (All it took was a new belt, new front tire,[Still needs a rear tire] un-bent and welded up the screwed up drag link, cleaned the nasty gunk out of the carb, new fuel cable, pressure washed, and it mows!!!! ) the lt 4000 still needs to have some proper wiring done and i found some large cracked that were previously welded and broke again by the axle housing on the frame. | |

| Well now that it's not going to mow the yard it might get some bigger paws. I really like the hood and body style, so it might replace the Murray for off road use. Not sure what to do with the Murray as I have a lot of work on it and I am pretty tires of Murray junk. Oh there might be a mtd project coming up as I am parting it out to keep all of the mowing parts as spare for the mowing mower so I will have a frame and u still have the foote and a 12 hp flatty to put on it | |

| So I got my lovely sister to drag the little old Murray RER frame and drop it on the mower trailer that's been hooked up to the muckraker for a week or so and then awhile latter I went out to drive it up to the house so I could start parting it up a bit and realized my abs really didn't like the idea of pull starting the thing. So I am waiting for another person to wonder by to start it for me lol | |

| RIP....that a spicer?
You’re always saying how you need transaxles. If you paid for shipping and to buy them, I’d pull a few from the junkyard near me, tag em with the number of speeds and what it’s out of if you care, and send em to you.
I know off the top of my head there are a few peerless 900 series, dunno if it’s a 930 920 or some of each, couple 801s, TON of FNRs like anyone needs those lol, and a 6 speed spicer. Spicer would be good to kick around as a backup but the guy would probably cut me a deal on a bunch of em. The more I get the cheaper it’ll all be. Interested? They run about 50 bucks each for the peerlesses

Lucky I would love a mat 206, had a 205 and it lasted super well until I down shifted way to hard. best one I've ever had. Probably had in in the Murray for 7 or 8 months hehe
