| Ok I was just cleaning the gears this morning and looking for chipped ones and stuff. I only found one so I took it out of the parts foote. The rest looks good and fresh but when I was putting it back together I was using this diagram that somebody gave me and I got confused. It might be kinda hard to see but part number 6 in the bottom right of the diagram has those slots for the gear selector slider. I got confused because the foot does not have a gear on that axle with those slots and I forget how to put it back together. Is it a mistake in the diagram or do I just not know what I am doing. I kinda forget how it goes together so help would be appreciated. Another thing is is that when I compress the springs on that shaft all together, part number 6's key falls out. Is it normal? | |

| If you mean lowered under where it would be flush with the frame I will have to figure it out. But you know that brick is there just to hold up the gearbox upright. The gearbox will be sitting flush with the frame hopefully. I don't know if the shifter will have to be longer because as I said I want to remove the material that the wheel barrow is sitting on and that's why I want to make a sub frame. And yeah, That's a lifted razor... It was actually my first ever project I think. | |

| Well I found the ideal metal for my sub frame. I just kinda want to make it stronger so it won't bend at high speeds. pretty nice welds but it looks like junk on the camera until I ran out of welding wire. I need to figure out the gearing pretty soon. If I put a 3'' on the transmission and a 5'' on the engine with the stock gearing, will it be decently fast? | |

| Is that steel tubing you used to strengthen the frame? That should do the trick.
Do 3" and 5" correspond to pulley sizes? The other information I need to know is:
-number of teeth on transmission output sprocket -number of teeth on axle sprocket -measured tire circumference or diameter -high gear ratio in the trans | |

| Yeah it's rectangular tube that I found at the scrapyard. I will get those measurements and post them this morning. What do you mean by high gear ratio in trans? like what the tooth ratio inside there is when it's in 3rd gear? | |

| Ok so..... I want to hit high speeds to like maybe 40MPH I think. Not anything deadly scary fast but something that might be able to get going pretty good and maybe roast some tires. Right now, I don't think I can or will change these stats but what I can change is the pulley sizes on the engine and trans. Sprocket on axle: 44 tooth Sprocket on output of the transmission: 7 tooth 3RD GEAR gearing inside the case: 30 tooth on the input shaft 20 tooth on the output shaft. What size pulleys should I use? | |

| I think the ratio Carl needs is the input to output ratio. Like how many times the pinion shaft turns to make one full turn of the output shaft.
