@MightyRaze That's looking really good with the body work on there. Since this is your working tractor where the motor might not be running at 3600 rpm all the time, you might want to set the idle higher than normal just to make sure the splash lube system is working effectively.

Thank you.  Been trying to figure out which direction to go from here.  I am thinking finish off steering then finish off the hand brake and foot brake.  That will get me completed underneath the tractor all but the engine pulley and belt. 

From there I can go 2 directions.  Finish up the body and steering column, or I could build a front bumper.  :-)

I saw a modification a guy did to his racing oppys, he opened up the holes in the rods some, and kinda tapered the top, and also took a 1/4in round bur the the oil journals for the crank and made em a bit bigger.

If the engine is apart, these are simple mods a person can do.

Progress is super slow right now. Our biggest dog, not pictured on atltf before had surgery yesterday to remove a huge growth off his rear leg. He is doing well. Seems in good spirits but sore.

I did finish the tin work on the engine. I removed the tin work that had the swoop to cover the original exhaust and muffler. I put on the style that just covers the head. I should have pictures later today of it.

Thanks W!  He seems to be feeling really well right now.  I let him out to go chill with the other dogs today.  While he was out there, I decided to dig out my steering and brake parts for cleaning and painting.

The scar looks tough on that dog, but I'm glad he's up and moving around acting fairly normal.

Surgery was yesterday, The scar will be large, but he is already getting around better than when he had the huge tumor on his leg.  I even caught him trying to trot along today.  I had to slow him down.  Not sure he is ready for that.  Don't want to bust them stitches.  Vet even had to use buttons temporary to help hold the skin together as he lost a good chunk.

Great to see the pup making a good recovery mighty! Sweet paint job on those parts too, haha.

Thanks for the comments!  Nothing done today on the build.  Been fighting the mower tractor today.  Solenoid went out it would appear and the battery is super weak.  Also, the valves are way off.

Back to the build. I would like to use my 5/8 rod and weld some bolts to the end for some joints. I just need a more secure method to bend when I get it hot. Where we rented, I had this awesome hole in the driveway that I could stick stuff into and bend. LOL.

Other note, Dangit. looks like bad storms tonight.
