Here is the tractor when I saved it from my in-laws field.

My plan is to build a Rally Tractor with mild front suspension.

*Peerless 2300 series LOCKED
*Looking into possibly 3 link front suspension.
*Small shocks for the axle
*New Treads front and Back
*New lighting, still winging that one.
*Installing 18HP Opposed Briggs
*Building front offroad bumper

Hopes:

*maybe a skid plate of sorts.

So hyped for this entry. I been wanting to see a proper rally tractor so bad for a while, I've even considered building one. Maybe I will do something like that with the lt4000. Good luck!

Thanks man, got my front tires in today. I'll get them mounted and need to start on my front axle first.

Yeah, now you won't have mis-matching tread on the front!.

I could not sleep last night.  I've had a bit of insomnia for a few weeks.  So I installed the new tires on the rims I had.  These are 20x7x8 on an 8x7 rim to make them look beefier!



I am really hoping to knock the sleep issue soon.

What is the brand of the tires? are they sunf?

Yeah the fronts are. They weren't too bad to install. They also seemed to be pretty good quality and for once got a set of UNWARPED tires. Easiest tire to set the bead that I think I have ever installed even though I put them on a wider rim than recommended.

Should be sweet mighty! Can't wait to see your suspension take shape.

I plan on clearing out the space around the rig this weekend and start mocking up my preferred axle to work with. should that not work out, I may dig out my old craftsman one that I took off the squatch last year. I need to see if my 4on4 hubs will work with the spindles that are on it now.

Cool. I also plan on putting suspension on my build , so i dont break my neck after i pop wheelies

HAHA, wheelies, I do not plan on breaking off my spindle this year!

Yeah i have been over the rules quite a bit lol

This build, unless I get a wild hair up my rump, I will take my time and hopefull do it right the first time.  My hope is this will become my Primary machine.  I am 2-3 items shy of having Red Complete.  My hopes is to make it a "Friend" rider.  Basically have a machine a friend and I can go riding.  Kal, will have a more powerful engine and way sturdier frame and transaxle.  Not to mention the HUGE tires.  The fronts could be rear tires on all my other machines at 20" height!

I'm pretty excited to build it. I hope to have some good ideas to fab up along the way that I have not mentioned!

Sounds like a good plan to me ! I am just building mine to have fun and hoping to make it in the top three by just having a fun machine that is well built but unique enough to grab some first time entry votes lol
