No he didn't, but I assumed when you said "test run" you meant run of the engine. Haha, either way. Let's keep the thread on track. Sounds good with those open pipes Mighty!
Thanks. Only the 3rd time I have ran the engine since I bought it off a dude in Tulsa for $30 a year ago. He had it in a plastic tub. I still call it the "Briggs in a Bucket" engine.
It was missing one engine tin, unfortunately was the one with the model and type stamped in it. I ended up using some tins that I had lying around that did not have the exhaust swoop in the front.

I still need a thrust washer and caps for the front wheels. Also grease them. Then I will be ready to get after it. Also need to work on getting a foot throttle and start on my front bumper.

Looks really good Mighty! Wish the oppy in Mutt would run that well...
Why Mutt's Engine do'nt run well? AFAIK it burns a bit of Oil, because it were out faster ungoverned, like you run your engine. But still good Compression.

The motor sounds really good and I actually saw the suspension travel a little bit.
I take it where I hit the hole in the yard. It was a smooth ride through there. Although I didn't have my hood bolted down yet. It rattled all over the place. LOL

started a bumper. please ignore the splattery welds. Got new sticks but having trouble dialing them in to not burn too hot. They are the same as my old ones, but a different brand. What are your favorite brands for ARC welding? The old craftsman welder is not liking Hobart. Wish I knew what brand the others were.

Can't remember what brand sticks I've been using with our stick welder. I hardly ever use it. I think they were firepower, but it was an older box and I think firepower brand got bought out by someone since then. So not sure of the quality now.
I stay away from firepower brand stuff since I got a couple rolls of .030 flux core wire that didn't seem to have any flux in it at all. Think they had been labeled wrong.
I really like that bumper so far Mighty! I bet it'll look real nice on ol' Kal. You're putting a winch on this one too correct? Looks to be a good amount of room on that bumper for one.

Good to know. I have not seen that brand around.

Thanks. I'm not done by far.... we'll see.
Also, doing some googling. The ones I was using look like Lincoln sticks.
