Got the front axle out!!!

Wohoo no more crappy flipped front axle! Hahaha. I've got plans for a new custom front axle with proper steering geometry. I'll be using the original spindles but they'll be right side up for safety purposes.

I have not picked it up yet, the transaxle is locked up so I will need my father in law to scoop it up with the forks and put it in the truck. From there I can pull the pieces.

It's all just tacked together for now, but I'm gonna pull it out and finish welding it up. Then I'll work on mounting the spindles and what not. Let me know what ya think!

Nice! I guess the angle of the axle allows you to go as low as possible without raising the axle location.

It's not quite as bad as it looks in the picture. I might shorten the front just a little bit, I only want it wide enough to prevent the tires from rubbing on anything.
