Ok I know Its Completely Different Than What It Started To be But Goin With The Tractor Hood Ive Got A Set Of Rear Fenders From A Firestone Mower That Normally I Wasnt A Big Fan Of 'em But Works Really Well With The Hood But Any Way I Got The Front Axle Mounted & got started On Mounting The Rearend Got The Brackets Cut & Got 1 Hole Drilled & had To Go Help My Sisters Boyfriend So If I Have Time Tomorrow i'll Get it Mounted & get U Pics But After That I'll Get Started ON The Body

it'll probally be tomorrow before i can get pics since its raining & suppose to storm But I Got The Rearend Mounted So For The First Time Its Sittin On Its Own So I Guess After I Shorten A Cable For The Deck the Next Thing Is The Steering I Only Have To Make One Rod Then Put The Motor On It & get The Body On It But Its Comin Along Nicely

Here Ya Go Theres Pics Of The rearend & A Pic Of The Hood With The Front Axle Mounted & i Just Remembered I Never Showed U The Front Axle So I'll Get A Pic Of It Tomorrow But On The Rearend I Just Took A Peice Channel I Had That Just Happened To Be The Perfect Height I Welded It To The Frame It seems To Work Great & Was Very Easy. Hey sorry For No Updates Hadn't Had Time To Work On It Sunday I Got The Ford 8N Steering Wheel Morphed With Another Craftsman Wheel So It'd Fit The Craftsman Steering Column Should Be Pretty Neat When I get Time To Finish It I'll Get some Pics Thanks

I'll Try & Get Pics Tomorrow But I Got The Ford 8N Steering Wheel Done & On The Mower & works Great & Spur Of the Moment I Did The Steering & It Seems To Work Good I Used Part Of The Old Rod Then Put On A Tie-rod From Dirt Late model So Its Got A Heim Joint On The End By The Wheel I Think Cleaned Up & Painted It'd Look Good & It Was All Free So Cant Beat It

Hey man, like the way tht hood looks on it, gives it a 1940's racer look to it,it would be really cool if you made or had some side pipes to put on it. That is if you are going tht way with the build. Also This is the first time ive seen a craftsman like mine on this forum. Easy machine to work on. Good job so far.

                                                                     Thanks I'll Try To Get More Pics IN The Morning But Yea I Like Craftsmans Like You Said Their Very Simple I Was Plannin On Using The Body From It But The Tractor Hood Finally Just looked Awesome On The Exhaust I was Gonna Use A tractor Muffler & Bring It Threw The Hood With A Flap On It.  Heres A Pic Of Another Craftsman I built  https://i.servimg.com/u/f57/18/68/45/50/lmmmmw10.jpg

I'll Wait On Pics Nothin Really To Show Yet I've Got The Hood Off Did Some Body Work Beat Out A Bunch Of Dents & Gonna Gonna Do Allot Of Cleanin Then Gonna Weld It All Together & Make It One Piece The Hood Fenders & Grille Will Be One Piece Should Be Cool But I'll Try To Get Some More Done Tomorrow & Get Some Pics Thanks

thats pretty cool, i have another craftsman thats a little older than the red one you have but has the same hood type, if i come up with some cash im going to buy one of these http://glenssurplus.com/proddetail.php?prod=3sp-hpat-silver and use some running gear from a chinese quad to make things work. but thats a future project

I Welded the running Boards To The Fenders Then Welded The Front To ThE Deck Bracket & Its PLenty Sturdy So Should "Should" Be Able To Un-Bolt The Deck Bracket & The 2 Bolts On The Back Of The Fenders & they Should Come Off I'll Get A Wire Brush For My grinder Probally Thursday & Then Get The Hood Done I Still Got To Start The Motor

Hey I Got Another Wire Brush Today For My Grinder Didnt Get The One I Wanted Cause After 5 Hardware Stores They Apparently Dont exist Anymore But I Think It'll Work So I'll try & get Up Early In The Morning & Get The Grille Cleaned & Tack Everything Together & Whenever He Gets Time My Dad Is Gonna Use The Stick Welder on It To Kinda Fill It In Some So It'll Take Very Lil Bondo To Cover The Seems Up & Save Allot Of Wire
