| Well guys if you know murray had its last romp the other day and snapped a spindle, wheel fell off, bent tie rod, and drag link snapped in half and the pan frame bent up pretty bad! So i went to my local lawn mower junkie and picked up this craftsman lt1000. first things first, sanding and painting before i even think about the engine touching it! but anyway here it is and its a start! | |

| Looks like a pretty good start! Is the tractor in your avatar the one that got all mangled? Can you fix it? is it worth it, or are you just going to rob parts off it for this one? | |

| yeah it was totaled by my own personal insurance company but it could be fixed, but with it being a pan frame its not very strong, probably why its already bent, maybe somewhere down the road ill fix it up to beat around the woods with but for now it stands. | |

| Looks like it's coming along nicely! You might want to consider taking the bodywork off the chassis completely, rather than having to mask between colours/surfaces. | |

| so yesterday i did some fabrication. I got the engine on with a little fab to the muffler, put some grip strips on so my feet dont wear the paint, fabbed my old seat from the murray to the craftsman mounting bracket and instead of the hood that came with it being it was shorter than it all i took the old grille of the murray and fabbed it up to fit, then i noticed the bumper was bent so i bent it back. grips strips Almost done | |

| New bushings in the wheels off the old murray, painted up! i know overspray but it wears fast on the tires! chevy emblem or gmc emblem? cant decide. if you notice the new custom grill? it came off the old murray, i bent back the brackets to fit but i realized it wouldnt work to bolt on but i could self tap the screws in on top of the frame so thats what i did, cant wait to get it all together! GMC or Chevy? | |
