I am building a rear engine swap/mud mower and it goes pretty quick as the trails we use are around 4 miles away thou woods and I was using standard brakes but it comes to a complete stop before I finish shifting so I disconnected the brakes and was wondering if it is possible to make a hand brake to skid the rear end like in a car but also have foot brake as well..

If you add another pedal you can make a linkage to that. Fearlessfront uses a cable brake hooked up to his shift knob, so you could do that as well.

Me and my friends have our brakes set up on a separate pedal... a handle wouldn't be too tough to add I don't think. Maybe you could also make it so the linkage has a slide on it so the handle doesn't move with the pedal.

To have two handles controlling one brake you could just use a splitter, they use them on BMX bikes.
