I need brakes! urgent!

ok so im making my mower go about 50mph. stock. yes i know im wreckless lol. my stock brakes dont lock my wheels up anymore. went mudding a couple times and BAM they stopped working rlly good. now its more like a clutch then a brake. i have about 20$ or 30$ to make my mower a little safer when riding but thats only if i can fax my brakes with a nut or bolt tightened. im putting a 9"-2.5" ratio in it. soooo any way to make guards where the old ones where without welding? (btw i will be using this on the street so i rlly rlly want brakes) because i go mudding at night and i need the street to get to my spot. i already have lights
