Y2K Pathfinder Tuff Truck

So I snagged this thing fairly cheap off @mr.modified, and as the pictures show theres good reason why. I mean the interior of this thing was trashed. But for my use it was no problem. Always wanted something larger to run offroad and be street able all while showing up the Jeep boys in their overpriced lightbar display rigs.

Not going to go too crazy on this build. Step one is complete, which is making this thing pressure washer friendly. Some small things need to be done, like install a new head unit (water destroyed the original Bose unit) and marine grade speakers. I just got a push bar for free from a coworker so I have a spot for a winch mount and lights. Also planning in the spring to cut the back upper half off to make a bed like a mini truck, so will need to make a roll bar. Probably throw some nicer tires on, and get some 2" lift blocks to raise the ride height.

I'm almost speechless. How did that thing never catch fire? WoW....

Last pic is from Centralia, I rode there for a bit on my way home from upstate. Got about 15mpg for 250mi round trip. 4x4 works flawless. Hit 95 on the mountain and the dry rotted tires didnt blow apart. Good weekend for a test. Hydroplanes bad in the water with the tires tho.

I get queasy every time I see those pictures.

Yeah I think they were lucky not to burn it up with how many lit cigs hit the floor. Worst one I ever saw lol.

I put it on cause I was gonna just run it without a plate. Then I got a plate. Probably wont inspect so it may help, but otherwise its just a meme now.
