Yeah, he's about 20-25 min from here. Glad to have him around though... If not, a lot of my tractors would be in a million pieces getting parted out. Only problem is that he's scrapping a bunch of his stuff so... He should still have some good parts though.

Also, he actually retired about 5-10 years back (maybe more). He started this as a hobby, and uh, it kinda developed into a business. So that's the real reason he's scrapping stuff. (Then the prices of scrap dropped dramatically lol.)

Maybe. We took 350 lbs of scrap and got $7.50 before prices dropped. Just enough to pay in gas. Can't imagine what they are now. This guy is taking his about 50 miles. Can't get the money in gas back out of it, so he's keeping it 'til prices get higher.

Here, we got $4 for a roughly 200-pound washer the other day. Not even enough for gas. LOL.

Its around $100 a ton here.

Well, it only lasted an hour. Just enough to cover anything metal. If you look outside right now you'd never know sadly. I was hoping it would be at least enough to ride in, but like normal it had different plans. That's okay though, the locals are expecting a hard winter this year and so am I.

Darn huh? Would have been fun. I got all my toys gassed up never know in Texas last year we had decent snow but it happened at night and I figured it would be there in the morning to play around in and it was all gone.

Sadly the yellow craftsman is gone. Went to a guy that uses it for a fathers day race every year

Working on looking for a tractor for nexts years build off. Really had alot of fun doing it this year. Speaking of got my son into it to. Hes outside cutting metal and building him one. Really cool passing it down

What about the Wheel Horse/Murray from 2018? That was a cool build!

I won't be doing the Build-Off next year. Too much pressure to enjoy it for me. And with school and all, I just don't have time for it unless it's on my own schedule. Either way I'm pretty happy with the turnout of my machine. Real good base to improve on now.

That's cool.  My daughter likes to ride them, I just have to make them, but she helps.

I understand the pressure.  Sometimes you just want a good leisure build that is not constrained by rules or timelines.  Look at all the builds @AllisKidD21 has.  Only one is a build-off rig.  Also, he still uses each one.  I probably have one more build in me.  I just need to figure out a few details.

The snow fades before it gets too far down.  I think for site performance.  I'm cool with that.  This is the first year Lights and Snow worked together!  YAY!
