| Alright. We're beginning to knock some stuff off the list! So this week, I managed to get the motor off the Craps-man and on the MM, I managed to rewire it, just waiting on my push button now to see if it works, I got the pull-start on and it looks great. I stiil haven't ran the motor so I'm not sure if it's centered, and I also realized just how junkafied this engine is... It has so much compression that I could pick up the front wheels and stretch the rope that I use to start mine when I hit compression, hmmmm?... I did a little face work that I'll let you guys figure out, notice anything?... And then we went to the junkyard and got a battery case, a seat, a gas tank, and a tensioner pulley that doesn't work. The seat does not look good at all, but it's way more comfortable. I managed to lock up the front axle pretty good so now I gotta fix that. And we also were able to complete the Doc Locker!!!!!!! Of course there was a few hiccups along the way, like a bad weld on hub, crooked key way cuts, rusty key ways that don't fit, you know, things like that. My Papa was a metal worker so he was able to salvage the weld on hub! Completed Locker... And when I reassembled it, I somehow was able to blow hole right through the top of the case... I still don't understand it. You know those 2 bolts on the underside of an MST? Well some RTV musta got in there and when I drove it in real hard with an impact, "Pow!", and then I hear a ringing of metal. I had no clue of what it was till I turned the tranny back over. The backing that that bolt stops at busted off. Luckily no leakage yet, but I still haven't run it and I'm not sure, but it might of cracked the casing and when someone sends this thing off an embankment, it may mot hold up. So I just RTVed the crap out of it and hope it holds. But on the other hand, it shifts perfectly. So now, before I can drive it, it needs a belt, tensioner pulley, 4 tires, a gas pedal, and it would be nice to have some brakes too. She's coming together! | |

| Got the rear lights finished up! They look great! Push button came in! Works great. So once the front light is wired I don't think I have any more wiring! And now I'm working on the mud flaps. Basically doing what Doc did on Fugazi except I'm turning the flaps inward 90 degrees. I have a spare mud flap from when I put them on my Murray. | |

| I've really been busting my butt this week on the MM. Got some birthday money on top of that so now I'm looking for a light bar, tires, drive system, etc. Got the mud flaps finished up, the hand brake is done, sep. choke is done, and the gas pedal, oh boy the gas pedal. Was that ever a job. First, I had to glue it back together since it's made out of el cheapo Chinese plastic and falling apart, then I had to grease the cable, put the black piece or whatever it's called back on after shortening it along with the cable, got it to work smooth, then I had to figure out how to mount it, And after finding some PVC pipe, and getting a 90 degree elbow at Lowe's, painting it and mounting it, we have our gas pedal mount, then I installed the pedal, adjusted it, and put the cable straight to the govenor, RUINED the cable in the process but it's in so whatever, zip tied it to complete a loop, fired 'er up, pedal to the metal and if I didn't let go we probably would of hit somewhere in the 6000RPM range and blown 'er up. Anyway, THEN, I made a stop for it, painted it, and now I'm just tuning it in. It runs a little higher than it's stock RPMs but I want it to so it's all good. Knock is still there, but with that AVS in it I just don't feel like saving it. The hand brake works mint. Full forward is park. All the back has no resistance whatsoever. Sep. choke is a little different than your usual, matter of fact I put it in the old throttle cut out. I do plan on labeling all the switches and dash controls in the future. | |

You shouldn't put a limit on your throttle. You might need that little bit to get up a hill. The governor won't do it for you so you'll have to. You should just use good judgment as an RPM limit. Yes it is. It works real good too Yeah I would, but I don't trust this pedal at all. Matter of fact, once it hits full, it slowly keeps going faster, and faster, and faster. The pedal itself is just too sketchy, it seems to catch sometimes, and it either idles, or goes full, all the in between does nothing. A new pedal might be in future. | |

| Something peculiar is going on here......... Just happened too... Finally got a belt for it, and was able to get 'er out for a spin tonight....... At 9:00 PM! Probably made the neighbors mad but who really cares. It was pretty fun, racin' around, throwing a bit of gravel in the air, pumpin' the pedal feeling those 15 horses push and shove that thing around. Also lost my headlight cover, $5 toggle switch and whatever else I haven't seen yet in the process, so I gotta go find 'em before we mow them over tomorrow. That gas pedal taught me a lesson tonight, "NO STOP!!!" it said while I was in the middle of trying to do donuts. I gained too much trust in that and floored it, slid off the stop and the stop stopped it from returning to idle, 5-6000 RPMs, Barely missed crashing into my brother, slamming every toggle switch there trying to find the kill, and the longest 4 seconds of my life later, IT FINALLY came to a stop. Soooooooooooooo, lesson learned there. BUT, I could have the pedal to the floor in 5th and just cruise along without a worry in the world lol. I also burned the crap out of the brakes, so I have to fix that. This is my headlight tonight... Anyway, some videos will be out tomorrow! | |

| Bad news... The headlight lens shattered when it fell out and it's gonna cost me $20. Anyway... I've found out that the MM likes to break down. Twice in a day. I dunno why, I put a brand new carb and coil on it so it should run like a top. Maybe it'll clear up. Put the belly pan on and of course the bolt holes didn't line up. Anyway, Gotta button it up at this stage so I can send it up to the exhaust shop now that I got the amount of money I should need to finish this project. Top Speed Run | |

| Been a while since I updated it. Anyway, haven't had time, parts, and money to work on this thing, but I think I'm gonna just go ahead and take it to the fab shop and get most of the welding done. Then over the next couple months I'll work the quirks out of it. To get it to run half decent and a little more reliable, I'll probably just run the crap out of it to break it in, it ought to be a bit more reliable after that lol. It does have a tiny el cheapo fuel filter that was ordered straight from China, so it might be restricting fuel flow. Got these a couple weeks ago... The 7" slim bar fits absolutely perfect! But the LED pods are gonna be a bit of a pain. So here's what's left of the headlight cover, but I got an idea... What if I shaped it to cover the slim bar only? Do you think it would look better covering the slim bar, or would it look better if I just got a new one? And just for fun, I slapped a bit of paint on 2 wheels just to see how it'll look... I can't wait 'til I get some new tires! | |

| Thanks! Drove it around again today... Runs like crap. Toward the end of the build off I'm gonna tear it down to a certain degree and button it up real nice as I put it back together. Transmission is leaking really good, so, I'll have to tear into the tranny yet again, and reseal everything REALLY REALLY GOOD. The key way in the straight axle is where it's leaking from. Either way, this thing is one fun piece of crap right now | |

| Well, got the MM over to the fab shop today! I had to put the stamped frames wheels on it so it's movable. I need so much done I only told them half of what I need. So I'll probably be back on Monday to tell them the rest. Anyway, these are the last couple pics of it looking like this... And that's where it sits right now. Hopefully they ain't gonna charge me more than $40 lol. | |
