| Wouldn't be much to redrill 4 mounting holes for that engine so you don't cut the gas tank mount. Get some kind of cone air filter if you decide the leave the engine 90%. Some sort of separate exhaust that has a small 4 inch tractor supply muffler would be cool. Something that comes out of the port, and turns 45% back straight into the muffler. | |

IMO Would Straight Piped Stacks look & sound way cooler! They just need to go few "s higher than the hood and a 45° bend to exit the fumes to the side like my Glasspack Setup!

True! Only difficulty is to stretch the Hood without letting it look crappy since there R so many round shapes & stuff

| Sweet! I have the same Engine in my AYP! They sound great, but U have to watch at some things! If U run them lean the Heads overheat & the Valve Guides move & then its bending the pushrods n stuff. They also dont like Ungoverned use too much. Lucky7 had good luck with his running ungoverned, but I wouldnt recommend it! I'd use it if U want a bit better fuel economy, cuz they're thirsty, but Oppys R thirstier! | |

yeah im gonna test fit it soon, see if it looks better than the 16 opposed or if it would require less or more hood cutting. I have allot of projects going at the moment its getting nuts...

| I had a few mins to mock this motor up and it fits pretty good, if i can figure out how to shoot the exhaust out the front, I think it will work out. (if i can get it running) I would paint the entire motor and cover to match etc, its ugly as hell at the moment....but its huge and just fits under the hood.... | |

| @SebastianAlbrecht That's not a bad idea. I've seen that where a guy welded on some pipe couplers so he could screw on some mufflers and it works great and sounds bad@$$. I'm just realizing now that you're shoe horning a v-twin into a wheel horse and oh yeah I approve especially since you won't have to cut the hood up. They look great stock. | |

They look great stock. well the point of the build is to be totally ridiculous with the power. What I am thinking is I can cut one of the bars out of the grill and put an aluminum panel with two circle cut outs for the inline mufflers on each side. I could shoot it our the side but I think the looks will be poor compared to anything else. I think it will fit with no cutting or minimal cutting of the hood... I haven't been able to close it because I need to take off the exhaust pipes....for some reason the opposed engine is 2 inches taller.

i was thinking about doing something like this only implementing it into a two wheel cart so it can be moved around easily and you could lay it down or stand up for pressure washing !

i was thinking about doing something like this only implementing it into a two wheel cart so it can be moved around easily and you could lay it down or stand up for pressure washing ! Yeah I have seen people do much more intricate versions that wheel all around & that have the battery and gas tank mounted to it... I just need it to be small so I can get it out of the way. I am gonna make some brackets that bolt to the wood, and the wood should keep the vibrations down & keep it from wobbling too much. I am gonna try to wash and scrub the tractor frame tomorrow since it will finally be a nice day here....I am way behind on my build, I just had it in my mind that it ended in the winter like last year. 90 days is the 3 month mark. Ive been balls to the wall buying/selling tractors every week I can barely keep track. Time to get something done here... hope to run my motor. I have to find out if I can swap a magneto from a briggs 26hp intek to this 24hp els motor to test it. There is a big tractor swap meet here tomorrow called The jacktown show, in Bangor, PA, picking up some bigger front rims for this & a ton of other stuff...
