Nice Craftsman build! The snorkel plumbed into the original oppy air-box is pretty neat. Looks like it has the 3-speed 122 series transaxle with the dual ranges, just like my GT 6000.
Looking forward to seeing some more pictures!

AllisKidD21 It did have that Transaxel with the dual range and that is why i choose it but the case was wore out where the input shaft went in. so i ended up fitting a cast iron 4 speed out of a JD 216 in it and it works great even with a pulley swap i still have a lot of power in 1st gear and a lot of giddy up go in 3rd and 4th with 2nd being perfect for romping through the woods. And Yeah i plummeted into some deep water one time and was just shy of the bottom of that air cleaner so i welded up those holes and added the snorkel to avoid that being an issue !

Ooooh okay, so you put a 2300 series Peerless transaxle in it. Cool! Those are great transaxles for sure. I would love to see some pictures of how you mounted it sometime, if you don't mind snapping a few.

This is a really awesome build man! I was curious if fitting a 2300 in a Craftsman GT was possible. It looks great with the wider stance and I like the engine cage.

Thanks man ! the 2300 fit really well with some light fab work and a bit of reorientation. i'll be getting some pics of it with the rear cover removed soon and i'll post them up here.

Nothing special but have needed grab bars for a while (tired of getting my fingers caught between the fenders and tires) Nothing i've found really appealed to me. I didn't have a lot of time in the shop today but managed to get at least one built and installed. Got a busy week ahead but maybe i'll get a chance to crank out the other side next weekend.of course While i'll be working Thursday it's supposed to be like 70 and we've had a ton of rain! Would be a great time to get out to the woods. but then by Fri. weather goes back in the crapper ! 40s

Thanks The tank is under the seat. the original one was shot so i put a smaller one in that came out of one of the 1000 series craftsmans thats under the hood. so can't go to far without backup can ! i'm planning on putting a light in the original gashole !!

Well The Beast had developed a slight knock awhile back that was getting worse each time i'd use it. or go romping. so knowing it wouldn't help i went ahead and changed the oil hoping to prolong the inevitable. instead it pretty much did it in. I do have a back up oppy but need to go through it first. unfortunetly neither one are pressure lubed was hoping to find one before i had to swap it. Now i just need to find the time but hard to do with every one wanting there mowers serviced and fixed keeping me pretty busy on top of my job. I need eight day weeks !

finally got a chance to install a reciver hitch. i've only had it for three months lol. cut out a small section and welded it in bought this cargo hauler below from Harbor freight and cut it down. still need to weld it up and then i'll attach it to a ball mount so i can use it when i need it and remove it when i dont !
