Ugh... getting harder and harder to find a horizontal opposed twin in my area. :-(
I am also coming to the conclusion that people in my area don't seem to list things on marketplace anymore. They ditched craigslist well before covid. What's that latest place to find stuff.
Hey Mighty, I'll sell you mine. I was going to pull it to put in a thrust bearing, but I'd rather just throw in a predator 459 or 420.

@Ifitaintbroke Mexican pizza would be nice. By the way take me somewhere bougie I Want to Be wowed
I aint got the money for that. Sides. You aint worth it.
In other news, I've parked the GT18 for now, as the excessive crank end play has me concerned. Appears to be between 1/8 and 3/16 of an inch. I do NOT feel like tearing that thing back down again.

I sure did it started bucking while trying to pull that cub and I didn't let off and it snapped the whole case in two and tore the guts out of it. But I had a welded rear end that has the snot welded outta it and I put that in there. I also did the zip tie Governor mod and she has the ripems now it's really fast lol

No picture because I was an oily mess, but not a good day when you bust out your cherry picker for a future project. You go to test it out and it does not lift. You mess with it a bit... Manually lift the arm and it holds in the up position but bouncy. You open the pressure release to get it to go down and nothing happens. You bounce it a couple more times then POP! The plug comes out and you have a hydraulic geyser in the garage, soaking everything. Did I mention not a good day?
PS, I do have about 90% of it cleaned.
Guess if you look on the bright side. The 140lb engine I plan on using it with wasn't on the hook when this happened. It appears to be solid working now. We'll see how it works out here in a couple months. I'll test, I'm sure it needs more jack fluid.
