Limited Slip Differential Empty
PostSubject: Limited Slip Differential   Limited Slip Differential Icon_minitimeSeptember 23rd 2017, 8:11 pm

So my LT1000 has a differential, and it is driving me nuts. I would lock it, but it will hurt my steering and I still mow with it (the mounts are still there and I just put the deck on it when the grass gets tall) so I don't want to lock it. But today I was going up a hill and lost grip and 1 wheel was moving and I started back down...was SO scary. So, any ideas on making a limited slip or something?

I think if it was something simple, it would have been done already...

Yeah, I imagine, cause Mower Outlaw doesn't even have his locked.

You would think they would do something for the smaller tractor. Some Sub-Compacts have diff lock. I've read before some people using a jack-shaft to link the 2 halves that they could engage when needed.
