820 keyway size?

How tall/wide is the input shaft key?

I'm thinking about using a centrifugal clutch on an OP B&S 18HP, and make/modify the clutch and direct mount it to the input shaft so the engine sits on top of the 820. I think the input shaft is 3/4 OD.

Im pretty sure its a 3/16" woodruff key like every other trans, but being a 3/4 shaft it could be a 1/4" woodruff.

Thanks, I may go to TSC and see if they have some of what I need to get started on this project, I want to build a Rear Engine ATU.

If you go to the tractor drawbar stuff there should be a row of Countyline bulk hardware and I think there is an assortment of woodruff keys mixed in there. If not just get one of each of the Hillman ones in the drawers by the bolts and stuff.
