steering extended for bigger tires


front axle extended forward for tires not to hit




front end done besides bumper

I have one just like it- its an '82 11HP with the 36" deck - my favorite tractor .

I like the looks of the larger front tires on yours - has a nice stance - only part i dont like about mine is the gas tank bolted to the hood - its a pain to open it.

Youll want to keep an eye on the spindle bushings- when i got mine, they were shattered on the left side ( theyre just brass) - the roll pin on the pitman arm was a bitch to get out - had to cut the arm off and reweld it back together .

i used a steel nipple cut in half welded to the axle for bushings on my mod MTD's- those were plastic.

My trans is a 3 speed oil filled type, heavy duty , ive pulled alot of heavy stuff with it and never had an issue - alot of people said it be perfect to mod for racing , but its staying stock .

i would have had alot of videos of the ower but my camera deleted all my vids so i am pissed. but it did great and still needs more stuff done but worked out great

Nice machine- looks pretty mean. Thats something i want to add to my agway- the rear rack - once i put the motor on im going to start planning a setup for a steering front trans ( sorta like a noma 4 wheel steer) - shed time tho is pretty hard to come by lately tho- too many ideas- no time.

Makes me wanna dig out my greem simplicity and do the tranny work it needs.
I will be looking for another project to do soon being that my buggy is done.
I actually might reuse the buggy to do a mower project. It doesn't have as good of turning as I'd like it to have.

Trcustoms : thats the great thing about tractors- if y dont like it, can always be rebuilt or used as a base for something else. Thats what im pre planning with the mod MTD- stage 2 will be the installation of the wheelhorse sheetmetal.

Yeah very true, I guess i just get bord with stuff easy thats why i buuld stuff cause i couldn't ever afford to buy motorized vehicles all the time.
