im not going to use the plastic ones that forsure lol im going to measure my spindles and see if maybe i can find a bearing i can use if there not to expensive or i might just do what everyone else is doing is make some sorta bushing of some sort to slide over the spindle and just grease it every so often even tho i would much rather hace some sort of bearing set up but well see i may start today on tearing it all down ive already found some tires i want cheap there used but will save me time and money so i can spend it on something else i will need for the build

ty i could go off of what u did there and try to repeat the process if i have enough time i will do this if not ill do it after its been built but i know some time down the road i will do this its a great improvement on these little mtds
today i bought a wire wheel so i can start getting some of that rust and old paint off tomorrow since it will be nice and cool like low 70s and its july which is weird and low for tonight is 46 degrees!!! yikes but tomorrow ill start into her i like using wire wheels to get some rust off and old paint just quicker and i also bought like 20 good batteries so i wont have to wait to charge my batteries up on my camera as often i hate waiting...i was going to buy my tires today but needed other stuff for my computer but im also tring to figure out my paint scheme or atleast colors im thinking some brown gray and black something in that nature and possible bed line the frame and under body but well see how this all goes tomorrow when i tear into it
[img][/img] well shes getting closer to the garage lol ran outta gas and of course none in the jug in the building pfffs not to mention marys hood fell off all nuts and bolts vibrated loose....that didnt sound right lol but anyways new bolts and nuts for hers and hopefully tomorrow i can get mine in there to started got my stuff moved from back of my building and work table so now im ready for her
work bench complete even has square holes in the top of it so if i wanna use a spot to drill holes to mount the motor on for a test stand i can but ill just make one just in case of a fire or something dont want it to burn down my building lol will put better boards on it later all i had laying around and i had noooo nails or screws so i had to take old rusty ones outta other stuff to use lol
tear down day was good...all that is left is seat rear fenders and transaxle that will come out tomorrow then i can get started on the sanding and all that fun stuff lol

well got out this morning on no sleep and yanked the transaxle out...then the fun began when i had to remove the wheels....wheel puller never budget em...went old school on it alotta lube and beating it worked out alot easier then i thought lol video later of it and i shoulda named it rusty the mtd lol
np camo its less stain on ya too plus the wood takes all the blow and doesn't effect the rims on binding them or anything lmk how it goes i think keyed they be easier doing this way

hhmm thats weird i prime everything i paint and the paint comes out fine. but when i don't prime the paint looks hideous. but when i don't prime something its because i don't care what the paint looks like. oh and by the way i joined your group just need to except my request oh and you said you used rustoleum did you use automotive primer? because the automotive primer is grey witch is hard to cover with paint. they sell a black primer witch is easier to cover with paint.

was that primer glosy if it was the next color couldnt bind and did you was it with soap because if you dont get all the soap off the paint will form around where the soap is i do that all the time
