Do I have to weld a new pulley on my transaxle or can I just purchase one that has a keyway in it

You can cut the original pulley into a smaller circle and go to tractor supply and get a pulley and center and weld that to the original pulley you cut up. Or get a pulley with a keyed shaft and slide it on.

Where could I find a pulley with a keyed shaft? I can't weld worth crap lol
