This and if it aint pulley swapped, do that I suggest 1:1 with 5" or 6" pulleys. Plus lock the axle and snorkle it if you have a lotta water!

Well if I stick my foot under the clutch peddle it will give more tension in the belt and go better.. Could it be the springs?

yeah, put a stronger return spring on it. that should help it. you could even do double spring

I'd say gas petal, bumpers, led lights, upgraded pulleys and clutch, atv tires, and whatever else you find cool.

When you go you gotta stop. So i say need some good brakes. And throw a ATLTF sticker on it. That will give it instant sex appeal!!!!
