| Fancy name, anyone know the exact difference, im guessing the "kevlar" belts have strands of kevlar instead of some other fiber / aramid mix bound in htem, -For strenght. It should'nt do that much for the grip tho. | |

| We run standard 5/8 belts, on 6 in pulleys. They usually last a couple of years.
Small pulleys, slip, high tension, misaligned pulleys, bent/rough pulleys will shorten belt life, sometimes to very short belt life.

| mine last about 3-6 months depending how much i run it. that seems hella short. they just snap... one of the pullys is kinda small but i cant do anything about that, cause its a double pully. its got a big one and a little one casted together. same on the engine side. any tips on how to align them? its a horizontal shaft | |

| Eye ball it, make sure everything is inline, and parallel. Are you using 5/8 belts?
I'm not a fan of double pulleys, seems like it's a lot of extra twisting for the belt.
Would need some good pics of the belt routing/pulleys

| no, i dont mean double clutch, there is 2 on the driveshaft and 2 on the engine crankshaft, they serve as my high and low. i can get pics probably tomorrow. the best way i can describe is a stacked pully heres a rough sketch. like i said, i'll get actual pics tomorrow | |
