| Nice tractor man if you need any info check out my rally thread. Some things I would recommend would be a slap shifter and a steering upgrade. Cheers on a nice tractor !! | |

Cheers on a nice tractor !! since i still have the lever in the dash that would normally engage an attchmet iwas going to hook the shifter to that. i want to put handbrakes on it but idk where to put it. i was going to use the lever that woul lower the deck as a brake lever

| I would locate the brake near the shifter because chances are you will have your hand on or around your shifter while driving. | |

i will be doing that. i still have all the stock levers. the shifter will be the disengage / engage lever built into the dash and the brake will be the mower deck hieght lever

| Looks good those old Craftsmans are tough do you happen to know what tranny it is maybe it's a 4360 Spicer but anyway you would need to upgrade or fix steering those steering boxes in though things are crap but good luck on the build and keep us posted | |

| Nice mud! Those tractors make a great base to build off of.
On reinforcing the steering - check out my build thread... Stretch and I have just about perfected upgrading Craftsman steering boxes.

the steering rod comes out first then everything is fed through the hole

- Is that a hand bike throttle?
i think its more of a oh-***** handle exactly what it is its acually a knuckle that grab onto the handle bars of a bike but instead of handle bars it holding onto the lever works perfectly

| its been awhile since i have posted anything but there has been some progress right now the craftsman is sitting in pieces. i am putting it back together soon. All the mods i was going to do on it aren't going to happen. I am just putting it back together how it was before. i am kinda at a wall where i don't know what to do with it mod wise so if you can give me suggestions that would help out a lot. craftsman as it is now | |
