N.Central OH - Annual tractor party/race at Stretch's on 9/7/13

Hey everyone!  The date for the annual mower cycle gang party out at Stretch's house is Saturday, September 7th. This is pretty much an all day event (12ish - late).  If you need directions PM either myself or Stretch.

There will be races around the large barn, which provides a slightly hilly grass/dirt track.  There may be some other tractor related activities (wheelie / jumps / obstacles).  ***All tractor riding is done at your own risk.***  There is also likely to be cornhole, horseshoes, or other outdoor games.  There will also be a bonfire in the evening.

This is a BYOB event.  Expect people to be drinking.  We do not condone nor provide for drinking underage.

Kids are welcome, but please watch them carefully, as the tractors go pretty fast, and we don't want any kids wandering into the path of one.  Also note the above concerning drinking.

There is plenty of space for people to park a camper, or tent, or one can even just throw down a sleeping bag in the barn.  We do not want anyone leaving the party who is unfit to drive home.

There will be food.  If you are planning to eat, please bring something to share as well.

*IMPORTANT*  There will be no smoking in or around the barn.

I am calling the date set in stone.

We are considering building some obstacle course stuff. Maybe a mud pit, rock climb, tug of war, etc, depending on interest. I have plenty of rocks and such, and a large loader tractor.

Unfortunately, we won't be able to set up a large, flat, race course in the field, due to corn this season.

You guys ever consider going to powerline park?

That's the first I've heard of the place... what do they charge for regular admission?  I see specifics on their website only for certain weekends.

there only open 2 weekends a year memorial and labor day, Ive havent missed one in awhile, you guys would have a ton of fun there with your mowers, theres crazy stuff going on everywhere. we usually take fourwheelers down and booze cruise and watch everyone tear up there stuff lol 40 dollars for the whole weekend if you show up friday, 30 saturday 20 sunday 10 monday. but if you wanna see the cool stuff it usually leaves on sunday

Powerline is a fun place to be.. Lots of money wasted there lol.. Allways thot about bringin one of my tractor there to see what it would do but it would end up in the bottom of the pond lol..

Just 12 days until this shindig! Any semi-local people coming out to this one?

This sounds like a great time. Too bad I missed it this year. Hopefully we'll (son & I) will get our mowers together soon and be able to join in the fun. In the meantime though we're still looking for project mowers to work on.
