Locked my first transaxle today. I'm semi confident with my welds, there ok but by no means am I am expert welder lol. I followed fearlessfronts YouTube video. Ill let you guys know how it holds in the next few days when I hook it up and actually drive it

Thats awesome! Good luck and keep us updated on how it holds up. Im almost ready to attempt locking mine as well. Ive only had my welder for about 3 weeks and im still learning.

If it's going to break, it will probably happen on dry pavement. Corners on pavement, especially with low air pressure, or extra weight, put the most stress on a locked axle.

If you never run pavement, I wouldn't try it to test it out, might never break off road.

when l lock mine i think I'll do the redneckcomputergeek locking block method over fearless's but yeah keep us updated!
