Regarding the Ford steering box is it a manual one? If so it's probably not too big. The GM one in my MTD barely fits but if there was a power steering housing and what not it woulda' never worked.

I think @Doug had bearclaws on his Craftsman thing, seemed to do pretty good. @mr.modified has them on his Simplicity too. I think those two tires are pretty equal, but it's up to you what you do really.
So I've been off of school for like a week now. Kinda missing the machine shop and chemistry class. Damn Kentucky and their fear of snow.
Yeah was wondering if it was a hydro, he was going forward, then back, then forward with both hands on the steering wheel. Wonder how it's taking the pulley swap and engine mods.

I did a mild pulley swap on my green machine. It caused the transaxle to overheat very quickly and puke excess oil out the vent after prolonged romps. I put the stock pulley back on hopefully before I did any long term damage.
That's not a real mud mower in my opinion. They just threw together a mud mower for as cheap as possible to make that video.

I doubt that they did it solely for the video, his brother is rarely in them. His brother has actually had this mower for a while, it is a hydro murray.
Here's what he needs to take mudding:

Yeah those dico's are for steering, not drive wheels. the drive wheels have more tread depth and more tread spacing. i ran modified turfs for awhile on my murray and they did pretty well .
