I have no parts piles started. I started cleaning the shop tonight, trying to get stuff acclimated so once I can afford to build my benches I can get it done quick like.

I need more bench space. like aluminum topped so it doesnt suck up oils like wood or become magnetized like metal tops do, those are really pricey i found out tho!

I need more shop.... right now all my tools, which is four big boxes, along with 2 mower engines and 3 motorcycles are in a 10x10 space, I barely have room to work on stuff

Thats a very small work space, idk how you do it . i have half a two car garage full of my projects and tools right now.

This has only happened a couple times in the past year I think. It's good to have guidelines.  :-)  Carry on.  Nothing of "big" change here.

I do it with a lot of planning and very small foot room

My space is about 10x10 to. But my dad has the other 10x10 of the shop and I put my drill press over there.

Yeah, I know, but did you read the description?
I have a non working Craftsman Lawn Tractor. It is yours for free if you can move it from my outbuilding and load yourself and haul off. Disclosure...it has 2 bad tires so moving it is tricky, and it is in an outbuilding an 1/2 acre from the street. No you can't drive your truck into my yard, it won't fit through the gate or go around swimming pool.

Nice but Hey its free so..... You could take along the old tires from your craftsman and one front the front and just swap out the bad tires with your good ones and roll it out , i have drug 3 mower frames about 3/4 a mile because they were in a junk heap on the back side of a field so i couldn't drive a truck out there. I mean it was worth it because they all had good transaxles.

I'm kind of a bull when it comes to moving free stuff. I paid $50 but i still drug Red out from behind a shed and picked it up into the bed of the pickup.

Yeah, I'd be fine with doing what you said, too, but he said it won't go around the pool and it won't fit through the gate!  Wonder how he got it in there.

I am going to ask if he'll part it out, need a new carb and could use a peerless tranny.

Just go there and take the engine ,deck,tranny,hood,and fender off and take it out in pieces, i mean the guy wants it gone so i would think he wouldn't mind some stranger in his backyard for an hour or two.

Ive never use ramps to get a mower onto a truck bed, and i have hauled some monsters home. i saw a murray like lil red at the junk yard and was super happy until i realized it was a stupid hydro, i will not buy one of those lol. 50 bucks sounds very good considering getting a mst206 in it.

I paid 40 for the widebody I gutted in Kentucky (206) and another murray for 25 that has a 206 also. That one is my buddy’s build (@TheGreenHornet)

I used to load the lifted craftsman in the bed of my truck all the time

So today I got a bit of free stuff. I got a 23hp v twin with blown connecting rods and a bent camshaft,
witch I am planning on maybe putting forged internals on. Where would I get parts for that?
Also, The same guy gave me this 110cc Chinese quad engine which is very clean and from what I see is only missing a carb and a coil wire. My plans for that engine is to put it in the old yamaha frame that I bought for pretty cheap a while back.
