Hello, i have a question. I have a Murray 11/36 that has a Peerless 700 Gearbox and a differential chain driven rear axle. If i look on the internet i can not find any Information about it, i only find the Murray 11/36 with a Common Lawntractor Transaxle. Was the Murray 11/36 ever made in Production with the Peerless 700?

I'm with you. I'm guessing this is the one you have pictured in the other thread. Looks like an LT11 36. I am not seeing a 700 either. It possible that someone was setting it up for racing?

@MightyRaze Yes im talking about my Tractor in the other Thread. It cant be set up for racing because it still has the stock gearing and the rear diff was monted weirdly. There also is a plate that holds the gearbox on the chain side. The plate looks Original (From factory). The rear pulley is a bit weird tho.... look at this pic: The Pulley is WAYY wider than the belt. It will have much blet slip i think. Imma buy a new rear pulley thats a bit smaller. Good idea?

Just an fyi, buying a 5/8 pulley with a 1/2 belt is really a good thing, you can put belt guards right beside the pulley, and it disengages better Imao. That's what I did on my craftsman mud/light speed mower.

They definitely came with a Peerless 700 under the seat and a transaxle out back, I know someone who has one and pretty sure his had a single speed 2300 out back. His was a LT version but essentially the same as these:
@Hammernco Thanks for letting me know!!!!!!! how is your rear diff axle mounted? Mine was sitting in some plastic bushings, i changed them out for bronce bushings from a Wolfgarten scooter sv4 ride on lawntractor.

Yep worn out plastic bushing. Using a regular transaxle for my build though, will use the 700 for a winch up front

Always love a PTO winch! You can see my build right at the beginning of the Mutt part II thread, and there is one somewhere in redlinemotorsportt’s MTD build thread.
