Nah it's fine runs good just loosing my mind I think. I think the smell might be the coating on the mufflers burning off since I got new ones. Pulled the plug and it looks great definitely not burning oil.

Building a tractor for my buddy @frankenstein06 to possibly take to haspin. He may have some prior arrangements going on for that week. Just an MTD getting a locked MST and pan frame murray steering. Nothing too fancy...or durable

I got a notification that @CraftsmanQuad19 tagged me, but I don't have it on the forum or in an email, and I can't find it. Did you tag me Cooper or is this a glitch? I remember this happened with Carl a while back.

I get tag notifications sometimes when someone replies to a thread, with or without any tag in it. Thought i was the only one. It seems to only do it for the PWA
So ahhhh... I got a whole lot of junk dumped in my lap(or more accurately, my driveway) just recently. One's mine, ones a friend's. Been real busy for sure.
They're 18/6s, both within a year of each other. Plan with my friends is to put a V twin on it, make it a cool offroader. With mine, i just want it to run and drive so i can use the sicklebar mower and maybe even one of the 5 freakin mower decks i have for it.
The onan off my friend's sears. I cleaned the points and got it to fire when it was still on his. The Onan on mine had the points robbed off it. Using the original Onan makes using implements like that sickle bar mower so much easier.
Welp boys, I did it. I went to the dark side. I bought a 2011 Honda TRX Rancher 420 EFI. 4wd, has a 2" lift kit, 28" ITP Super Swamper Vampires, 12" ITP rims, and a small Boss Audio Systems boom box. What do ya'll think?
And if anyone's wondering, no this isn't going to replace the tractors. One thing it will allow me to do is strip the MTD down enough to restore it. Which I'm planning on that being my next project.

Just in case someone on here has one, I would be interested in buying a 420cc PowerMore starter off of one of you if you were to have one. Doesn't matter if it works or not. As long as the drive gear is good (not the bendix gear). I don't think anyone has one, but I'll check everywhere before I pay $100 for a crappy brand new starter that will break in a year or two.

Do you know a good forum for old Kawasaki ATVs? I finally traded my street bike for a 2002 Lakota 4x2 (allegedly), the VIN number is mysteriously rusted away. But at least the bike is gone, that albatross is around somebody else's neck now. I'm still trying to vehicle-climb the hill on my upstate property. A quick search says the Lakota does 55 mph, useless to me and NY requires a registration no matter what (except Ag etc). A registration requires a VIN. And so on, but at least I won't hurt my back playing with that heavy bike. I'm thinking I could use the treadmill frame to stretch the Lakota then put a chain drive on the rear axles to reduce the speed. In my mind this looks VW shape with a ROPS but the rear seat faces backwards to help ground clearance in the middle. Pulling the thing up the hill with a semi-permanent winch or cable system also comes to mind. Still the objective is to get up & down the hill with at least 1 non-athletic passenger (who isn't screaming) or to tow some stuff. Something that might work is a drum winch, like on a boat or sometimes electricians use one to pull cable through conduit. Then my infrastructure would be a loose cable anchored at the top and bottom of the hill. Or a tight cable if something could get a grip on it. Ideas welcome. The ATV is small but already 5 or 6 feet long. -Jim

No water.....I tried to get dad to run water because he's caught himself on fire more than once. But its definitely gonna have some good electric out there! Right now we only have 1 220 outlet so I'm thinking atleast 4 should do it Lol. Should be nice to have a garage that you can pull a car in and work on it and have multiple stuff going on at once.

Hey yall mowerjunkie here!! I've been absent for awhile now but those of you who follow my instagram no the tractor building hasn't stopped. I disappeared for awhile because i had been accessing the forum through the Topic It mobile app and when the app was removed I was discouraged due to the fact that I didn't have a laptop. I now have a computer and am planning to return. Bare with me as I adjust to using the atltf site. Let me know if there's anything I should know that changed about the posting style or format. Glad to see there is still so much energy here and I want yall to know my dedication to the community never stopped. Thanks for listening everybody and keep up the amazing work!!
