I'd love to see one of these old MTDs built as a resto mod off roader like Ol' Red. I'd find an old flathead to put in there before a predator. I don't think the slanted jug on the predator would look right under the hood because the crank is inline with the tractor.
Would you like of the engines out of my tractors?

Well a lot has happened since I last posted over 2-3 years ago. I am currently in the middle of a cleaning out, too many tractors, have bought a few more, gotten rid of a few and no room. I picked up this 1972? MTD 960 with 3 point setup. The original tractor I was going to use was a 860 not a 960.
