| I am having a hard time training my Jack Russell about the wifi dog fence in the backyard. I should have just set-up a traditional fence. | |

| Ugh... predicting 112-114 for a high temp tomorrow in OKC. Right now it is 104. This would all be fine with like 10-15% humidity, but we are running 50-60% humidity on top of that! Ugh.. Feels like temp at 104 is 126, I can just imagine the 114. | |

| Oof that sucks mighty
In other news, finally picked up an impact wrench today. It’s an older matco 1/2 inch drive. 1100 ft lbs of torque. I’m super stoked because I’m so used to taking my sweet time with my ratchets. Everything is about to go so much faster now | |

| That's way too hot. I was working in the sun in a 100 degree heat index last week. I did get somewhat acclimated to it, but I don't think I could handle that Oklahoma heat. | |

| So I scored me another K Series today! Small block, most likely a K181, attached to a Kohler generator. The generator is no good but that's okay because I'm only interested in the engine. Thinking about sticking it in my rusty old LT11 and making some cool rat rod speed machine, I think that'd be real neat. Being a genny engine it most likely have a tapered PTO journal, but I can work with that for sure. Either way it's a pretty cool unit! Yeah totally, looks like an old Cat engine or something, hahaha. I was planning on just leaving it like that, maybe a coat of clear too. | Sweet find. Electric start? The oil drain plug is in a different location than my K181s, mine are on the bottom. | |

| Thanks, haha. She's rope start only which isn't a big deal to me So bit of an update, I got the generator seperated from the engine and got a look and my PTO journal: Short tapered shaft, with a woodruff slot (oddly enough) But I had a fellow I know cut the hub off the ammature in his horizontal band saw. Perfect! Just gotta get a much shorter bolt for the crank, then I can fix a pulley to the hub and lock the whole riggins onto the crank! Got pretty lucky there, haha. Also as a bonus he gave me a neat old Honda G200 horizintal shaft engine: So that might turn into a cool project. I'm definitely happy about the Kohler though, haha. A couple things better in my opinion about these Kohlers then old cast Briggs are the side draft carbs (as opposed to updraft, which can be a little finicky), the fully adjustable valve lash, and the external, easy to access breaker points (as opposed to under the flywheel). I love my good ol' Briggs and Strattons, but the K Series are undeniably good engines. | Sweet old Kohler.... back when they were great engines. Don't get me wrong they still have some good ones.. But yeah!... That's one of the nice things about having the whole thing, you were able to make a shaft! Love the look of that old thing. | |

| The darker part is exactly 1.500", so I'm thinking I could probably get a deck drive pulley off one of the engines I have lying around and fit it on there. Hopefully anyway, haha.
